The Walmart Family owns as much as nearly half the country

Considering how the Republicans under control of the uber-rich in this country absolutely gangraped our economy and tax structure over the last few decades while completely slanting the wealth towards the top of the pyramid and pissing on everyone else, it amazes me that house slaves like you continue to defend these predatory practices. I want this country to have a more fair and even playing field like we did in the past before useful idiots like you were getting used by them. And it's obvious none of you dumb fucks are rich or even well off, which just confuses me even more.

The Waltons are probably more single-handedly responsible for gangraping our economy and making us China's bitch than any other one entity. That's why I'm angry.

Ain't that the truth, I remember a story years ago when Rubbermaid closed down American operations and moved to Mexico. A company spokesman cited pressure by Walmart to sell to them cheaper every year, year after year, as the only reason that they packed up and went south.

Seriously, I mean... are these people fucking brain dead? They cite history that doesn't exist and they excitedly cheer on their class being destroyed. Do they think these rich fucks are going to break them off a piece because they jump to put their cocks in their mouth? Am I watching political prostitution? The psychology of these people is utterly fascinating.

Yes, every time I take a car trip and see just how similar every town is now with the same collection of soulless corporate boxes squatting around Walmart on the bypass and a practically deserted downtown I have to wonder how these people can think that's better.

It blows my mind how house slave conservatives will do anything for their rich masters. Reading these poor ignorant pieces of garbage defend the uber-rich's evil bullshit in this country is maddening.
I was wondering what blew up your mind because your post had nothing of value in it.

I live 30 miles from the Waltons, used to live 5 miles, but, at least when Sam Walton was alive he would split the stock.

Defend them from what? Do you and your ilk plan on robbing them? Why yes you do.

What have Waltons done that required them to be defended, other than incite the envy of a mob of losers like you?

Well, you aren't really angry, are you? The Sinese have a lot of mouths to feed, and they have truly made an effort to control population by putting the birth rate into fractional terms after a lot of international finger-wagging over population control.

Furthermore, it's the people over here demanding cheap rather than American-made items. Our culture came up from the get go with men who'd look at drapes, then have their own slaves make them a carbon copy.

I, too, was pretty unhappy when I heard our steel mills in Pennsylvania were closing down due to China learning how to make stainless steel, then beating us on prices even when the costs of shipping heavy skillets was thrown in.

Competitive pricing does not always bring what we think it will. It brought Pennsylvania a lot of hurt, but I didn't know what to do about it. By that time, however, no steel was being made in America. Once we lost our steel mills, nothing has brought them back. People aren't willing to invest money when workers collaborate to check out profits and bargain collectively to take the profits investors used to get.

It's a giant conundrum to which answers do not come in pretty packages with everybody going home happy. Unless we put our best brains on it who believe in other Americans to win markets for American products.

Think about the oil, cars, steel, computers, electricy that you enjoy before you think the rich are our enemies. They're not...

You might not like that they are intelligent and earn lots of money. But look at the other view point.

Irony...Do a Goggle search on it. :lmao:

Do a google search on how house slave conservatives jump to suck rich cock? No thanks.
The irony is terminally pissed off fuckchops like you sucking the dicks of uber rich assholes like the Kennedys, Rockefellers, Soros and Buffett, as though that's somehow going to do you any good.

They didn't fuck up our tax structure and send us into a recession. And yes I'm weary of all rich people and I'd like to punch every one of the Rockefellers in the face but I'm blaming the ones who actually did the fucking.

George W. Bush and his ilk effectively murdered small business in this country.

I was watching a special and they were saying what the Walmart family owns is equal to what over 40% of Americans on the bottom of the economic ladder owns.

And remember when I said that food stamps are used as a business supplement because people raising a family on minimum wage - can't?

Remember how Republicans talked about how great is it working at Walmart? That if people would just get a job, they could get off foodstamps?

Wage and Hour Lawsuits against Wal-Mart Settled for over $350 Million - AboutLawsuits.com

Last week, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. announced that they have agreed to pay between $352 million and $640 million to settle 63 wage and hour lawsuits filed against the retailer in 42 different states. The lawsuits accused the company of cheating hourly workers by forcing them to work through breaks and not paying them for overtime.

Remember before the election Republicans on this very site, suggested there is nothing wrong with corporations becoming more involved in government? That they want what's best for the country because they are profit driven? Even Mitt Romney said "Corporations are people my friend".

Earlier this month, Wal-mart agreed to pay $54.3 million to settle a wage and hour class action lawsuit brought on behalf of workers in Minnesota, after a judge found that the company had violated wage and hour laws more than 2 million times.

And Republicans on this very site want to shrink government to the point where it can be drowned in a bathtub and abolish all those stifling regulations.

How many Republicans have talked about abolishing the minimum wage?

This is why we have to be vigilant when it comes to the Republican Party. They are dangerous and full of the "gullible".

The left in their obsession of Wal Mart have been recruiting employees and former employees to file suits for years, I'm really surprised they've had so little success. Wal Mart has 1.4 million employees and who knows how many former employees, if the settlement reaches the 640 million reported, that would be less than 5 dollars per head, and the lawyers will take most of that. Keep them lawyers working lefties, I'm sure they apreciate it.

This is why Progressives need barbed wires to keep people from fleeing their countries.

Their "ideas" come with a 100% guaranteed fail rate.

The tax structure has been fucked up since 1913....But you're too much of a gullible chump to call for the outright end to it, and would rather use it as a tool to channel your irrational anger.

Better you than me.

Too bad old John Rockefeller isn't around to kill the competition

You must really appreciate how much our government subsidizes those low wages, in their case those food stamps are corporate socialism. If the Waltons had shred of decency they would get the hell off the public dole and pay their people a decent wage. They could easily give these workers what they get in food stamps and still make tremendous profits.

Instead of helping people off the bottom, they want to tear down the top.

That's why Progressive nations are the world's poorest

World's Happiest Country Is... - Denmark, and unhappiest is Togo: report

Bhutan measures the mood of its citizens in a national happiness index, and in an international meeting held at the UN yesterday and led by the country, it urged other nations to follow its lead. A report released for the meeting, taking into account polls from 2005 to 2011, ranks the happiest and unhappiest countries. The happiest (the US makes an appearance at No. 11.)

The Wal-mart Family owns it? I thought the Stock holders did.

lol
There's a lot of discussions on this board that are obviously way above your pay grade. Better to stay quiet and be assumed an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it.

Irrelevant post is irrelevant.

Can anyone tell me how Obama became a 1 percenter? Who did he rip off?

He wrote a couple of best sellers. You know, "books". One of those things you find highly decorative but never bothered to open.

You mean he got some sucker ghost-write those books for him?

And as far as how popular they were, judging by how many people actually read them, there is no better indication that NOBODY read them for many many many years, since nobody knew that he was a connoisseur of canine flesh, until the first person who ever read those literary pieces of trash brought it to the world's attention.

At least he did not make his fortune by being a gigolo, like John Kerry.

No he didn't. On his watch in our town, a lot of small businesses did okay and employed a lot of people.
