The Vatican's Position On Gay Marriage: Hispanic Vote Counters Take Note

...Voting for the GOP isn't going to change gay marriage, there's nothing they can do, and the GOP hates ******* and wetbacks, that hasn't changed.
There are several legal and political attack-vectors to wipe away the homosexual-marriage stain upon American honor...

Nope.

Actually last week I was fairly sure that the people would win the right to marry- but I never said absolutely- because unlike your bizarre predictions- I knew that the court can be unpredictable.

And as I said before- courts will resolve lawsuits like courts always do. Depends on the case.
So you're afraid to say who will prevail on your cult of LGBT vs Christianity. OK, at least you concede that Hobby Lobby exists. Wise choice to hang back and not count your chickens before they hatch. ;)

No- I am quite happy to say you are batshit crazy. I just don't dance when you play your crazy fiddle.

The courts will resolve the cases as courts do. Which will mean they will ignore your batshit crazy rants.

Calling the decision to allow homosexual marriage a 'stain upon American honor' is 'butt-hurt'?

Nope.

Merely calling a piece-of-shit example of Judicial Activism for what it truly is.

You Wingnuts had no problem with Judicial Activism when it was Heller throwing out sensible gun control people voted for in cities or Citizen's United throwing out sensible campaign finance reform that kept rich people from buying elections.

The thing is, now that the rich have what they want, they don't need you homophobes anymore.

They didn't even have the decency to give you a reach-around.

the stain is that we have people who wrap their hate and fear up in Vestments and call it "religion".

Racists used to do the same thing 50 years ago, and look how silly they look now.

No, the difference is that there is no passage in the New Testament that directs Christians to resist interracial marriage at the risk and peril of eternal damnation. The New Testament is the Christian doctrine, not the Old Testament. Race IS NOT EQUAL TO BEHAVIORS in this regard. Jude 1 clearly describes the behaviors of homosexuals that are to be pitied but not in any way carried along or promoted. Worse, Jude 1 assigns that any Christian who fails to rise up against the spread of a homosexual culture movement exactly like LGBT, are doomed to soul-death. Not saying a dozen hail marys, not going to confession. This is MORTAL SIN regarding behaviors that are not allowed to a Christian to enable.

I heard the new battle plan unveiled on CNN's AC-360 last night. Their assertion is that "the resistance to blacks marrying whites in the 1960 is exactly the same as Christians resiting gay marriage". It isn't even in the same ballpark. Again, no New Testament doctrine prescribes soul-death for races marrying. And race isn't behavior. Race isn't behavior. Let me repeat that: RACE ISN'T BEHAVIOR.

What gay marriage has done is FUNDAMENTALLY RESTRUCTURE the physical makeup of the actual definition of the word "marriage" to render children in it fatherless or motherless. This has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. Races intermarried throughout time immemorial. Gay marriage is a brand spanking new redaction to the physical meaning of the word. A black man and a white woman are still a man and a woman.

But people who opposed repealing the miscegenation laws cited the Old Testament up and down to justify keeping them on the books. In fact, the lower court judge said the following in the Loving Case.

Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix. - Judge Leon M. Bazile,

Christians are to follow the New Testament.

As it turns out, Jude 1 is a direct and specific commandment about homosexuality. And it's in the New Testament of Jesus's teachings. Jude was a daily companion of Jesus'. He was his close friend and companion and servant. And confidant. Jude's very first passage was about the dire dangers of the story of Sodom and warnings to future populations about going down that same road courtesy of the "smooth speech" of homosexuals and their friends placed in positions of power and influence. It's very specific that if a Christian fails in these warnings, they are doomed to not enter the gates of Heaven.

actually, they are supposed to follow both.

That sounds kind of... gay! :suck:

Then the Christian has a pretty clear path. Close up the bakery, take a huge loss on all that capital equipment he invested in, and he'll totally get into the imaginary afterlife.

Now, for the rest of us who don't follow Bronze Age Superstitions.... and don't worship psychotic sky pixies, you really don't have a good argument, do you?

Jude doesn't even mention homosexuality.

But Jesus does tell us what his followers should do:

The Greatest Commandment
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’b]">[b] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’c]">[c] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Jude doesn't mention homosexuality- and does not quote Jesus.

In Catholic belief, "marriage is a faithful, exclusive and lifelong union between one man and one woman, joined as husband and wife in an intimate partnership of life and love," the 47-bishop committee said in a statement released Sept. 10.

"What are called 'homosexual unions,' because they do not express full human complementarity and because they are inherently nonprocreative, cannot be given the status of marriage," the committee said.

It warned that "the importance of marriage for children and for society" is under attack in U.S. courts and legislatures and in popular culture and entertainment media, which "often undermine or ignore the essential role of marriage and promote equivalence between marriage and homosexual relationships."

The Administrative Committee -- composed of the USCCB's executive officers, elected committee chairmen and elected regional representatives -- is the highest policy and decision-making body of the bishops apart from the entire body when it meets twice a year in general assembly...

..it committed the bishops to promoting the "essential role of marriage ... in our teaching and preaching, but also in our public policy advocacy at the state and national levels and in the important dialogue about how best to protect marriage and the common good in the U.S. Constitution and in our society as a whole." Hispanic Catholics today..The number of Hispanics in the United States grew from 1.9 million in 1940, to 14.6 million in 1990, to 50.5 million in 2010, according to US Census Bureau data. Of these, 31.8 million are Mexican-American, 4.6 million are Puerto Rican, 1.8 million are Cuban-American, and 1.6 million are Salvadoran-American. Hispanics today do not uniformly assent to “popery”: 68 percent of US Hispanics are Catholic, according to a 2007 report by the Pew Research Center, while 15 percent are Evangelical Protestants and 8 percent profess no religion. The Vatican's Biblical Enforcement Policy isn't up for a vote or to stay current with the latest fads. Noting the part in bold, those wishing to entice hispanics to vote democratic should seriously consider dropping their rainbow arm bands.

Because unless the LGBT cult has plans to jail priests at Sunday and Saturday masses for reminding their flock of their essential duty to their faith and God, things could get really weird at the polls for dems in 2016.

 You think Latinos are going to give a shit what these guys are saying? You really need to check yourself into a mental hospital because you're even more detached than before, and that was bad enough already.

Over 60% of hispanics polled identify as catholic. When push comes to shove at the voting booth, a hispanic catholic is going to choose his immortal soul over the democratic/homosexual cult party.

"The Vatican's Position On Gay Marriage: Hispanic Vote Counters Take Note"

Hispanic Americans are the same as all other Americans, they have the intelligence to understand the difference between religious dogma and Constitutional law, where it's perfectly appropriate and consistent to support the right of same-sex couples to marry while at the same time recognizing the right of churches to not afford same-sex couples religious marriage rituals.

Instead, Hispanic Americans will once again be rejecting the GOP, whose candidates are hostile to immigration reform, and hostile to Hispanic immigrants.

Sixty percent thought Catholics who had divorced and remarried outside the church should be eligible to receive communion. Sixty-one percent thought priests should be allowed to marry. Seventy-six percent thought abortion should be permitted at least in some circumstances. Seventy-nine percent supported contraception.
