At best, you're arguing correlation, which does not imply causation. But there's still a good point in what you say. Our society has a terrible approach to mental health, which includes misdiagnosing complex personal challenges as simple illnesses. Pills are prescribed and patients are sent out the door while everyone involved enjoys a false sense of accomplishment in believing that the problem has been "fixed."

But really, what is happening is very challenging social and cultural problems in our country that can't be cured with pills that are designed to gaslight people into thinking they are happy even if they aren't. These same kinds of cultural problems lead to many people to lash out and make some tragic decisions to commit mass violence. And of course, liberals' attempts to restrict gun rights will, at best, only encourage people to make crude IEDs out of cheap and easily accessible materials and internet blueprints.

If there is clear evidence that SSRI's cause mass shootings, why has not one Mass Shooter gone to court and claimed the SSRI's made him do it?
