I'm from California and I see American flags large and small flying on bikes, cars, trucks etc. all the time. Some sadly need replacing. How shreaded to they want them to become?

Probably because he comes from a military family and wanted to fly a flag. Lots of people do that, Jillian. It isn't a sign of mental illness. My little boy was so taken with the whole patriotism thing that he woke up this morning wanting to wear red, white and blue like he did to the school program on Wednesday.

There are entire families proud of this country, its history, what it stands for, and who are proud of the vets in their families. Why is that bad?
