It wasn't working that way though. The UN did not stop genocide in Kosovo, NATO did. The UN isn't stopping rwanda, darfur, and it didn't stop Hussein.

The US TRIED to cooperate with the world, problem was the world didn't want to cooperate with us. France, Germany, Russia, China, and who knows who else were working against the sanctions to undermine the purpose of them.

Your post alleging Iraq to be "subdued" is totally without basis in fact. France, for one, was funneling money and dual-use equipment to Saddam. France was already calling for a discontinuance of sanctions - gee I wonder why. Had the Iraq situation been left to UN auspices, there would no longer be sanctions, Saddam would still be in power, he would have biological weapons and a developing nuclear program by now.

I find it totally amazing how you manage to continue to live in your fantasy land and how adept you are at ignoring the facts so that you can continue to wallow in your cowardly ignorance.

That doesn't mean we have to allow others to dictate treaties which are not in our best interest. Finally, the alternative locations suggested for the UN thus far in this thread are all inappropriate. As far as I'm concerned, if the UN is allowed to continue to exist, it should be located at the South Pole.

The UN should be kicked the hell out of the US and the US should immediately terminate its membership and cease supporting that den of thieves, spies and murderers. I also think that the UN should be investigated by the Department of Justice to determine if any of their members or agencies have been involved in supporting terrorist attacks on this country.

The UN was outraged that some private company was "doing their job". Subsequently, the UN ordered the PMC out and approximately 1000 UN troops were sent in and the rebels whooped their asses.
