    It's a common thing folks say about McDonald's burgers. Once in a while, an experiment pops up that shows how a burger — or entire Happy Meal — can remain unchanged for months.

    Of course they rot. They will not rot if you keep them in air tight jars, as seen on Morgan Spurlock's film. They will rot if you leave them out in the sun, though.

    I've seen a McDonald Burger turn green once--but rotting happy meals? Can't say I have seen that before.
