His trial was delayed until 16 SEPT due to his mother passing away. The state did not object to his being allowed to be taken to Detroit to attend her funeral.

The trial date has been postponed endlessly with numerous continuances. Newest trial date is 10/9/13. One need not depend entirely on the media. Maricopa County court dockets are available online as a free public record. The Jude case history can be found on the County Court website via a name search.

So why is the media completely ignoring it? A man, a mentally retarded man, was killed. It was national headlines when Trayvon was killed.
