The sad fact is this:

When it comes to nations, the only real law is the law of the jungle.

Nations are amoral.

Note that this posts author gives all land theft that occurred before the XXth ventury a pass?

Why?

Why ought all land theft that occurred before 1900 not be treated in the same way as all land theft that happened since that time?

Certainly thye USA has no higher MORAl GROUND with which we can look down on Israel.

For that matter, neither do the Arabas have any high moral ground to claim they OWN that land, since they possessed it by taking it by force, too.

History might be a useful tool for deciding what's going on, but it give NO nation A moral pass.

Just about every piece of land on earth is drenched in the blood of its former owners.

Israel./Palestine merely happens to be one of the more recent examples of that sad fact.

There is no morality in geopolitics, folks.

There is power and pretty everything else is just so much nonsense.

Both sides are wrong, both ignore treaties and agreements and want more land for their particular side.

Just one side has all the money and power, making them seem more immoral.

If the roles were reversed and Palestine had all that money and hundreds of unmonitored nukes you can rest assured they'd be stealing Israeli land too.
