Isn't it just mind blowing that the same people who argue "it's NOT happening here. It will NEVER happen here" often follow up with "well it's really not that bad"? Masters of double speak for sure. I thought Kalam's comments on the ZOMG thread were interesting regarding Western interpretations of the Koran. According to him, non-Muslims and non-Arabic speakers cannot ever fully understand the text. If what he says is true, how can "bridge building" and "understanding" ever be possible? It seems that total surrender to Sharia law might be the only solution.

Yet even then, I have a feeling they'd find something else to get pissed off about.

They will always be pissed off, America can still follow a policy of containment towards non secular Muslims, Europe though will have to go to war with Islam or surrender (for most European nations the second option is taking place).
