Obama spending binge never happened - MarketWatch

Someone has to be lying. :eusa_shifty:

That would be my guess...

and that would be ewe, because the facts are the facts, the debt has increased by nearly 6 trillion dollars under obamadummie, in less than 4 years. thems the facts jack.

oh well, that makes it all better:rolleyes:

Please keep in mind that Reagan was handed a crap economy. By 1984, even though it wasn't hitting on four like it would later....Reagan was less than 1% away from wiping Mondale off the face of the map. He won 49 states (or lost one, which in Obama's world means he would have lost 56...but I digress).f

Obama got a bad economy too. Four years later, we will send him packing.

I love the debt discussion. Even though they have no idea of what they are making reference to. But, that has never stopped them in the past.

Maybe Lakhotaasshole thinks Obama wins 49 states ?

Here are the facts, according to the official government statistics:

• In the 2009 fiscal year — the last of George W. Bush’s presidency — federal spending rose by 17.9% from $2.98 trillion to $3.52 trillion. Check the official numbers at the Office of Management and Budget.

• In fiscal 2010 — the first budget under Obama — spending fell 1.8% to $3.46 trillion.

• In fiscal 2011, spending rose 4.3% to $3.60 trillion.

• In fiscal 2012, spending is set to rise 0.7% to $3.63 trillion, according to the Congressional Budget Office’s estimate of the budget that was agreed to last August.

• Finally in fiscal 2013 — the final budget of Obama’s term — spending is scheduled to fall 1.3% to $3.58 trillion. Read the CBO’s latest budget outlook.

Over Obama’s four budget years, federal spending is on track to rise from $3.52 trillion to $3.58 trillion, an annualized increase of just 0.4%.

There has been no huge increase in spending under the current president, despite what you hear.

Why do people think Obama has spent like a drunken sailor? It’s in part because of a fundamental misunderstanding of the federal budget.

Of course it started with the Democrat Congress in 2007

Until Barack Obama took office in 2009, the United States had never spent more than 23.5% of GDP, with the exception of the World War II years of 1942-1946. Here’s the Obama spending record:

– 25.2% of GDP in 2009

– 24.1% of GDP in 2010

– 24.1% of GDP in 2011

– 24.3% (estimates by the White House ) in 2012

What’s more, if Obama wins another term, spending—according to his own budget—would never drop below 22.3% of GDP. If that forecast is right, spending during Obama’s eight years in
office would average 23.6% of GDP. That’s higher than any single previous non-war year.

All you need to do is GO Back and listen to Biden and Obama in 08 Repeatedly Attacking Bush for Running the debt up to in their own words 8 Trillion Dollars, then look at the debt today to see they are full of shit. S

Sure some of that 8 Trillion Since then can be put on Bush but not a good 5 Fucking Trillion of it. That's all Obama's and it's in 1 Term.

Congrats.

Let me be the first to remind you Mr President, that in your own words you are Reckless and Irresponsible and Unpatriotic For Running up the Debt and kicking the Bill for our Problems down the Road to our Kids and Grand Kids.

lol

Please couple those with the revenue numbers for same year.

It might be a little more meaningful.

You of course know that Pelosi and Reid wouldn't let Bush anywhere near that budget, which was maxed out with over a trillion in deficits with President Elect Obama, and which he signed into law early in his Presidency.

But you are dishonest filth, as we both know.

Obama has given Congress a budget and Reid refuses to bring it to the floor.
