The state that cut the most lost the most jobs

Take Wisconsin for example. Yea, they've had to cut a lot, but that's because their economy over the years has been destroyed by unionization, high business taxes, and high levels of regulation that have made it a business-hostile state.

Factually incorrect. Wisconsin's economy and budget were fine until Walker was elected and quickly passed massive cuts in taxes for businesses. Only then did Wisconsin find itself in the dire financial shape that "warranted" stripping the rights of workers. Additionally, the unions in Wisconsin AGREED to cuts in compensation in order to help balance the budget, and Walker and the GOP said no, unless worker rights were stripped as well.
Factually you are an idiot. Walker didn't have time to do anything to hurt the economy, he just got elected. Good for Walker.

Has it occured to you that cutting in the face of a bad economy doesnt help
Has it occured to you that you are a blithering idiot. Spending in a bad economy is the worst thing the gov't. can do. Obamaturd and the dimwits have proven that over and over.

CHART: States That Cut The Most Spending Have Lost The Most Jobs | ThinkProgress

Relative to national economic trends, states that increased spending enjoyed on average:
• 0.2 percentage point decrease in the unemployment rate
•1.4 percent increase in private employment
•0.5 percent real economic growth since the start of the recession

In contrast, states that cut spending saw on average
•1 percentage point increase in the unemployment rate
•2.1 percent loss of private employment
•2.9 percent real economic contraction relative to the national economic trend

This is known as the fallacy of post hoc, ergo propter hoc, or to the laymen correlation is not causation. The states that are in the biggest economic trouble are the ones that have been spending like drunken sailors. They had no choice but to make cuts. States that have kept their spending low haven't had to make cuts.

Once again, it's leftwing propaganda.

Liberals are incapable of telling the truth.

Soooo, Walker getting elected all of a sudden caused a deficit? And point to a single workers right that was "stripped."

Again ...

Wisconsin's economy and budget were fine until Walker was elected and quickly passed massive cuts in taxes for businesses.

Workers have a right to collectively bargain. Period. Walker and his cronies went after that right.

You mean Wisconsin's economy has suddenly taken a dive in the last couple of months? I thought it went into the toilet 2 1/2 years ago alone with the economy of every other state except the ones with low government spending.

Yeah... Hoovervilles never happened... they were just a made up conspiracy theory... like the Moon landing and Nazi Concentration Camps.

Hoover was doing a lot of the same things FDR did. The fact is that all FDR did is carry on Hoover's failed policies and even doubled down on them. Instead of a short recession like every previous one in history, the FDR depression lasted until the end of WW II.

Spending and economic regulation do not help the economy.

The man was elected three times... Apparently he was doing something right.

Yes he was. As Harry Hopkins so elequently "spend, spend, spend. Elect, elect, elect."

The internment Camps? I agree 100%. That was fucked up. But so is the Patriot Act and to a smaller degree... Homeland Security.. So is racial Profiling... so is Pulling over Mexican Americans and having them show ID to prove that they are Citizens.

You're comparing the Patriot Act to concentration camps? Statements like that is the reason the term "liberal" has become en epithet.

Asking someone for his I.D. is not racial profiling. We all have to provide the police with I.D. when requested.

Austerity is for fear mongering elitist megarich pubs who want to stall the recovery from THEIR GD 2nd Great Depression, as an excuse to roll back workers’ rights. Thanks to their giant BS propaganda machine and bought off minions, half the country is duped- - Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman and all other non bought off experts…:eusa_angel:

Hoover and FDR had the same policies? LOL! Just like Walker and Obama....:bsflag::thanks:
