Yea, they've had to cut a lot, but that's because their economy over the years has been destroyed by unionization, high business taxes, and high levels of regulation that have made it a business-hostile state.
Factually incorrect. Wisconsin's economy and budget were fine until Walker was elected and quickly passed massive cuts in taxes for businesses. Only then did Wisconsin find itself in the dire financial shape that "warranted" stripping the rights of workers. Additionally, the unions in Wisconsin AGREED to cuts in compensation in order to help balance the budget, and Walker and the GOP said no, unless worker rights were stripped as well.
