This is mainly a little slap for fun but while all the alarmists are pummeling us with "hot this, and "hot that" that are only hot in their fevered imaginations the fact is it is cold this spring (as it was last spring) and the cold has prevented us from planting my daughters garden and farmers all over the area are likewise not able to start planting.

"As noted yesterday, the rains and flooding has delayed the planting season for corn even as drought has done serious damage to the winter wheat. With some drying, expect planting to pick up in the next week or so but soil temperatures remain too cold for germination in many northern areas. This is a soil temperature map for this morning."

We had 65 FEET of snow last month. Not 65 inches but FEET. It's been damned cold and will continue to be so for the next week or so. The same is true all over.

State of the Climate - Global Analysis
March 2011
United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - National Climatic Data Center

The combined global land and ocean surface temperature anomaly for March 2011 was 0.49°C (0.88°F) above the 20th century average, tying with 2000 as the 13th warmest March since records began in 1880. Sea surface temperatures (SST) during March 2011 were warmer than average across much of the world's oceans, with cooler-than-average conditions across the central equatorial and eastern portions of the Pacific Ocean and the southern oceans...This was also the 35th consecutive March with global land and ocean temperatures above the 20th century average. For the year-to-date, the global combined land and ocean surface temperature of 12.73°C (54.87°F) was the 14th warmest January–March on record. This value is 0.43°C (0.77°F) above the 20th century average.

And as usual, here's another one of the incredibly inane and pointless responses the walleyedretard comes up with whenever his nonsense gets debunked, which is, of course, all the time.
