Now first I want to say I don't give a crap about gay marriage, except that it was pointed out to me that with approval of gay marriage other repercussions might occur. Like this:

"Guardian feature columnist Jon Henley uncritically quotes convicted pedophiles like Tom O’Carroll who said that children enter into such “relationships” voluntarily. “If there’s no bullying, no coercion, no abuse of power, if the child enters into the relationship voluntarily … the evidence shows there need be no harm.”

Henley then trots out a few “experts” that present “proof” that kids are not harmed by the predators that abuse them."

Sexual actions are generally governed by "consent". It is almost universally accepted that a minor is incapable of giving that consent, hence we cannot hold minors to contracts.

This is much ado about nothing. I doubt pedophiles and their actions will be accepted anytime soon.

Correct, this is a non-issue.

It is, unfortunately, a shameful example of demagoguery on the part of those opposed to equal protection rights for same-sex couples, attempting to equate homosexuality with pedophilia.
