Her moms even joined her in this *cough* "protest"

Spies was joined by her mother, Miki Spies, and a handful of fellow Durango High students and alumni in a protest outside the school Wednesday after, she said, administrators informed her the photo would not be permitted because it violated dress code.
“I feel like they aren’t allowing me to have my freedom of expression,” Spies told the Herald. ”I think the administration is wrong in this situation, and I don’t want this to happen to other people.”

It qualifies her for a somewhat lucrative career as an exotic dancer, though.

20 years from now she will be glad that a skanky picture of herself was not included in the yearbook. She will probably grow up, even if it seems her parents haven't.

More than likely, 20 years from now when wide-open-beaver shots are the norm for high school yearbook pictures, she'll look back at hers and think how pure and innocent it was.

I am all for legalized porn, decriminalizing prostitution etc....But I have no problem with her high school not allowing this in the year book. The school probably pays for the Yearbook, it can decide what goes in it. I am sorry, I am not for this sort of thing.
