What news organization here in the US do you think would go with this headline?

Assuming for sake of argument that Jesus, was and is a real figure...
In all seriousness, how would you prove Christ was Christ given that most all his own people didn't recognize him last time he dropped by? Who would be threatened by his message and would battle to keep his brand of socialism from being taken seriously in this great temple of money changing, called the USA?

Jesus has already came back long ago while his disciples were still alive. Or did he lie to them?

As a young child in the Roman Catholic Church, I always wondered about his second coming. I decided at an age between First Holy Communion and Confirmation, that there was probably no chance in hell that a son of god was coming in my lifetime. That along with other thoughts, led to the conclusion that there was probably no first coming. Which inevitably led to the final conclusion, god is a human construct.

and even that get's questioned

Just about any liberal rag in the country.

So assuming reality is real...

In all seriousness, how would you prove Christ was Christ given that most all his own people didn't recognize him last time he dropped by?

I would think that descending out of Heaven dressed in red, with nail marks in his hands, wrists, and feet, while turning the Mount of Olives into a valley and liberating Jerusalem from destruction as is prophecied, would make it pretty obvious who He is.

Of course, maybe you'd still be unsure. It's possible. But unlikely.

Who would be threatened by his message and would battle to keep his brand of socialism from being taken seriously in this great temple of money changing, called the USA?

He doesnt preach socialism. He isnt trying to remove private property. Quite the opposite. He is the one who promises people land for their inheritence. He doesn't advocate entitlements or depedence on government. He advocates personal charity and ministry to those in need. He doesn't empower government, He empowers people.

So I would guess that you socialists would be very upset with it.

There is no second coming.

After what happended to him last time, he'd have to be out of his mind to come back here.

Read the fall of Babylon in Revelation 18.
It really isn't that long.
Something I found interesting is the Greek translation is much different light.
Says in verse 3 where the Kings "committed" adultery/fornication" is actually worded as "Practicing fornication" like screwing someone for a business.
