The Scum Also Rises II...

Sorry, The Guardian is a valid and intenationally reputable source of news.

I agree, I like to read their news stories too. This was an op/ed article from a democrat though - not a news story. It's biased and the facts cannot be substantiated.

Well, I see 2 problems here:

1. The media is biased

2. People keep justifying "Well, look at what your party did..." to justify their own party.

The bottom line is this:

1. Constutionally, we are subject to nobody elses authority outside our nation (even the UN). As such, we are resoponsible for only our own actions and only act on our own authority.

2. We are only allowed to go into another country, Constitutionaly, if they get on a bullhorn and threaten us, or point a warhead at us.

3. We went in under the public guise of 2 things: freeing iraqis, and getting warheads. -Neither of these are Constitutional basis for war, and are therefore illegal. -Impeach him.

4. Call a spade a spade. Every politician or "leader" of any party, especially Socialist Democrats needs to be treated EXACTLY the same way when they are breaking Constitutional law. If Clinton conducted a military operation in another country without Constitutional basis, impeach him too.

It is because we ignore our Constitution, it ignores us and we end up playing these silly games arguing back and forth while power flows from citizens to politicians no matter WHO is in office.

The Socialists (Democrats) ultimately want a police state through Socialization (or public programs).

The Republicans ultimately want a police state through Corporate control and centralizing power in the federal area of government.

Notice the trends since 9/11. Notice what each side wants. Think about where we have gone with our freedoms since WW2. Wonder why D and R are flip sides of the same coin these days?

THEY ALL WIN AS LONG AS YOU LOSE POWER AND THEY GAIN IT.
