More and more one can't help but wondering..do Republicans really want to lose?

Democrats in control of the U.S. Senate rejected an amendment Thursday from U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., that would have permitted employers to refuse to cover health-care costs contrary to their religious beliefs -- mainly birth-control and abortion-inducing drugs. The amendment went down on a 51-48 vote.

If you think Obama can win on this feel free. This issue has pissed off Catholics, Jews, Mormons, and Evangelicals all over the country. Now Obama is trying to change the subject by claiming it's about Rush calling some lying co-ed a slut.

We'll see. And you are right..it has pissed off many people. But not in a way I believe would be good for a republican nominee.

This woman actually said that somebody told her she had seizures without contraception. It's wonderful to be able to repeat any rumor or urban legend in front of congress that you want.

There never was. I would link to it to prove it, but I haven't figured out how to link to things that do not exist in order to prove that they don't exist. You are, however, free to link to the actual Rubio-Blunt amendment if it does, or did, exist to prove me wrong.

She specifically went to Georgetown because it did not cover contraception, now she is complaining. I find myself a little confused as to her motives.
