I agree.

Still, I think Brian Jones was key to the Stone's growth and Mick was able to continue in a more pop oriented hard rock vein. I wonder where they would have gone with Brian setting the course.

Just like it seems Apple can not seem to chart a new course without Jobs at the helm. They reorder and release anew but the changes are to the same format.

That's kind of how I see the Stones after Brian.
