I certainly offered rebuttals. Michele Bachmann is one of the most popular Republicans today with the base. It's the actual moderates in the party she scares the crap out of. In fact, you can see recently that John Boehner and Eric Cantor restated their approval of her. So for you to say that she doesn't represent the GOP today is a lie, a sorry one at that on your part.

This is a fact. The left wing loonies have taken over the Democrat Party. The right wing lonnies feel it's now OK to act just like their left wing loonie compatriots have been acting for the last 12 years so they are trying to take over the Republican Party.

Of course. The GOP finally decided to find reasonable candidates that fit their constituents, meanwhile the Democrats control the federal government at every level and have fucked up their chances, flushing all political capital down the toilet.

2006 wave brought tons of Democratic governors to states. Lucky for the GOP, actually, because now those same Democrats are going to have to take the heat for the problems their states are having now regardless of the root cause. 2010 will be a strong anti-incumbent year.

About the size of it. I don't know much about the Daily Kos considering I have never actually visited their website unless I was linked on here. However, I do know they are considered the fringe left so that would be a good example.
