The Republicans really wonder about capitalism.

I have never been a union member.
More competition does not limit choice but increases it.

No one is blocked from competing with Wal-Mart.

Do you think Kobe Bryant should be banned from professional basketball? Lenny Crabowitz can't compete against him. Bryant is clearly a monopoly and anti-competitive.

Excellence will not be tolerated, eh flopper?
No one is blocked from competing with WalMart that can spend 50 billion a year with their suppliers.

Supporting sweat shops in third world countries, sex discrimination in the workplace, violations of wage and hour laws, and stocking 85% of your shelves with foreign made goods is not a mark of excellence.

So it's now a monopoly if your business is more successful and generates more money than most people's? Only small, poor businesses - which also, coincidentally, can't offer prices or selections as good to consumers - should be allowed to be in business?

Wah, wah, whine, whine on the whole "sweatshop" thing. I'm well aware that what constitutes a sweatshop to most leftists is anyplace that doesn't pay what the same job would cost in the US, never mind what the standard of living in that country actually IS or how much it would fuck up their economy to make factory workers among the richest people in their communities.

Sex discrimination in the workplace? Give me a break. Because one disgruntled **** can't figure any other reason BESIDES her **** that her career isn't going well? Give me half-a-second, and I'll bet I can think of one.

Violations of wage and hour laws? Again, based on what?

What've you got against foreign-made products? The fact that they help to raise the economies of poorer nations a hell of a lot better than US foreign aid does, the fact that they enable poor people in THIS country to have a higher standard of living by making products more affordable to them, or the fact that leftist tax policies forced the golden geese to flee the country before they could be killed?

obscene profits and human exploitation

yes Walmarts profits must be obscene since they enrich poor people all over the world with the lowest prices in the world! See why we are positive a liberal will be slow!!

Why doesn't everyone agree that anybody who refers to Obama as a socialist doesn't understand the term?

Government ownership of the means of production you mean? Who was it again that took over controlling ownership of GM? Who was it who bailed out the financial sector with a million strings attached? I think we understand the term.

It was Big Finance and Corporate America that grabbed the Government by the throat and shook it around until the money started rolling out of its pockets. This was no "government takeover" this was a "people's bailout" in the purest sense of the word.

As for Obama: He is just as much a puppet and order-taker as any previous US President. He gets way too much credit for following the orders given him in secrete by the true powers the be: International Corporate Banking and the high-tech Military Industrial Complex which is it's stepchild. Be greatful your fate is being so well looked after.

Don't believe it? Would you like an example of the peolpe who REALLY run your country?

Read about Steven Feinberg, founder of CERBERUS. See who he has hired and fired. He is probably one of the top 5 richest indivuals in the world. He personally owns his own "Banking Group". He paid cash for Daimler/Chrysler. (Daimler retains 19%). Declared it banckrupt, collected your governments bailout money and then sold it for profit to FIAT. These are the kinds brains that run the world of Capitalism and have your future and benefit allways in mind.

good, another conspiracy freak! This is an odd one considering that most of the international banking industry just went bankrupt in the on-going great recession.

HAtred of WalMart follows the sad dysfunctional pattern of hatred of the GOP, hatred of Bush, hatred of wealthy people, hatred of anyone who isn't embittered and down-trodden. It is the mark of the Left, which sees success as unfair and failure as a charitable event.

Under which administration did the USA nationalize AIG?

Under which administration was the TARP program started?

TARP was begun under Bush. Obama, swept into office on the pledge to end the failed policies of George W Bush, has made it a permanent fixture in the government.

Answer your questions?

No one is blocked from competing with WalMart that can spend 50 billion a year with their suppliers.

No one is blocked from competing with Kobe who can make a 94 ft. free throw....

Perhaps 5% of what you claim is true. For instance, substantiate the claim of "sex discrimination?"

sweat shops save lives or people would not voluntarily work in them!
ban them and people die.

People dying, higher prices to consumers, less convenience and more fuel used because stores are not local are all small prices to pay for the noble goal of shutting down Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart is an outrage to the left. The low prices let the great unwashed live lives of opulence. What fun is it being a leftist elite like Matt Daemon if the slobs living in the Valley have 50" TV and the same creature comforts?

Now low food prices? Shit, the Bourgeois masses will be eating steak and Sushi, that needs to be OUT OF REACH, dammit.

If the have-nots have, then the whole premise and purpose of leftism is shot to hell. Deprivation is the goal - the quest - the determined obsession of the left. They will crush Wal-Mart and bring deprivation to all - so help me Obama!

Utter and complete bullshit. There isn't a single accurate work in that.

"The People," were overwhelmingly opposed to the bailouts. Bush, McCain and Obama ignored the will of the people and funneled some $18 TRILLION dollars from the productive sector into the gaping maw of the well connected looter class that holds the leash of scumbags like Obama.

You want to play fantasy conspiracy - ohhh the Illuminati strikes the dark elf for 7 critical magic... Childish bullshit.

You play while ignoring the facts that are right in your face, well connected looters in cahoots with crooked politicians have established open fascism. Goldman Sachs holds Obama's leash, not as a "secret cabal" of mysterious evil, but as open and in-your-face looters who bribe and steal with impunity. Obama isn't some Sith Lord, he's a two-bit crook.

Also remember that Obama left the campaign trail because it was "so important" that he vote for TARP - Obama who didn't bother to vote on any bill.

Obama is just another fucking crook.

He is a Chicago machine politician. Why anyone thinks he isn't dirty is beyond me.

Well, the government took a 79.9% stake in AIG, which would seem like nationalization to me.

Dude, "military-industrial complex is so 1960s."

And Feinberg isn't in the top 5. Top 500 maybe, but not 5.

yes, class warfare and hatred is right out of the Marxist play book, but the liberal has no idea how brainwashed his words are.

Communism taught them the economy is a zero sum game. What the rich have they stole from the poor, yet somehow rich and poor are both 1000 times better off than they were 100 years ago. In fact it is far better to be poor today than rich 100 years ago becuase the capitalist pie gets bigger for everyone. Henry Ford only made 1.49 per car but delivered billions of dollars of cars to everyone. You don't get rich unless you can make stuff they poor can afford to buy to improve their lives .

Walmart Sex Discrimination Case to Go to Trial - ABC News

That doesn't prove WalMart did it. It just proves that a bunch of greedy ambulance-chasing lawyers saw a chance to bilk some money out of WalMart's deep pockets, a handful of embittered twats couldn't figure out any reason aside from their putative femaleness that their worklives sucked, and a gaggle of greedy twats saw a chance to cash in instead of working for a living. Oh, and the 9th Circuit Court saw a chance to exercise their liberalness.

If WalMart could really get away with paying women less than they pay men for the same job (with no extenuating circumstances), why would they ever bother to hire men at all?

And oh, hey, look at this, in your own link, from your own treasured court:

In the court's dissent, Judge Sandra Ikuta wrote that there was a reason no court has ever taken on a class as big as this one.

"While the six plaintiffs allege they have suffered discrimination at the hands of a few individual store managers, they fail to present 'ignificant proof' of a discriminatory policy or practice of Walmart that would make it possible to conclude that 1.5 million members of the proposed class suffered similar discrimination," Ikuta wrote.

Even the pathetic twats in question aren't trying to say that WalMart Inc. has an official, systematic policy of mistreating women. They themselves are merely claiming that they had individual problems with individual bad apples. The lawyers and the lawyers in robes just decided to magnify the whole thing to line their pockets and/or advance their agenda.

The lawyers and the lawyers in robes just decided to magnify the whole thing to line their pockets and/or advance their agenda.

The important point here is that lawyers get away with it because liberals who lack the IQ to understand capitalism support them.
