The Republican War On Women

It's been 10 years since the OP and the Republican war on women has only intensified.
Thanks for the highly emotional rant by Myorkas' 'Truth Commission'. :p

Democrats endangered women's / little girls' lives, not protected them, by legalizing men - perverts, pedos, etc... - going into women's bathrooms.

Democrats have destroyed women's sports and minimized their achievements and records by allowing and defending men participating in women's sports.

Someone posted a great article in another thread about how Democrats are 'erasing' women.

Now Democrats are treating women as if they are stupid by lying to them about the possibility of reversing RVW..

Lying POS Democrats who have lost their emotional minds are declaring Conservatives want to deny them abortions...and contraceptives...and more.

The fact is if RVW is 'reversed' it will be based on Constitutionality, and the legislative powers and choice of abortions will be returned to the STATES rather than continue to be controlled by the federal Democrat death cult that even now is fighting to make abortions legal through all 9 months of a pregnancy.

Your comment reflects one of the staples in Democtat tactics - accusing others of doing what Democrats have done / still do and accusing others of being who Democrats constantly prove they are.

Ridiculous post of the day.

Imbecile...

At least some of the more conservative members of the House said they also want to ensure strict enforcement of the abortion ban and to prevent pregnant Texans from seeking legal abortions in other states.

Almost exactly 10 years to the day, Republicans have just taken away women's right to choose. This is what I was talking about when I said Republicans are waging war on women. You denied it. Are you still denying it? Last I checked women are protesting against you cons. Seems they are very unhappy with you. Why? Because of this war you've waged on them. Duh.
Why are you lying . No one is taking your right to choose. They are putting it in the hands of the states where it should have been this whole time.

Some states are planning on adopting such laws. What's to stop this rogue Supreme Court from upholding such laws?

By "rogue" you mean allowing states to make laws that best represent their constituency. The left wants activist judges, just not Republican ones.

In May 2021, Texas lawmakers passed the Texas Heartbeat Act, banning abortions as soon as cardiac activity can be detected, typically as early as six weeks into pregnancy and often before women know they are pregnant. In order to avoid traditional constitutional challenges based on Roe v. Wade, the law provides that any person, with or without any vested interest, may sue anyone that performs or induces an abortion in violation of the statute, as well as anyone who "aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion, including paying for or reimbursing the costs of an abortion through insurance or otherwise."[54] It was signed into law by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on May 15, 2021.

The Heartbeat Act thus authorizes lawsuits not only against abortion providers, but also against abortion funders, employers, and insurance companies that defray the costs of an abortion, along with anyone else who "aids or abets" an unlawful abortion by providing referrals, transportation, or any type of logistical support.[55] Anyone who is successfully sued for violating the Act can be found liable for a minimum of $10,000 for each abortion performed (or assisted) in violation of the Act, plus costs and attorneys' fees.[54]

At the same time, the Act specifically prohibits state officials from enforcing the Act, leaving enforcement entirely in the hands of private litigants who will sue those who violate the statute.[56] The law was written this way to prevent abortion providers from challenging the constitutionality of the statute before it takes effect in the ordinary manner, which involves injunction suits against state officials charged with enforcement in federal court. Instead, abortion providers must wait until someone sues them for violating the statute, and then assert their constitutional claims defensively.[56][54][57]

The Act was challenged in courts, but the U.S. Supreme Court declined to enjoin it and no full formal hearing took place before it took effect on September 1, 2021. Whole Woman's Health and other abortion providers sought an emergency injunction from the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the law from coming into effect, but the Court denied the application. Although the order itself was unsigned, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote a dissenting opinion, joined by Justices Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan, indicating that he would "preclude enforcement of S. B. 8 by the respondents to afford the District Court and the Court of Appeals the opportunity to consider the propriety of judicial action and preliminary relief pending consideration of the plaintiffs’ claims."[58][59][60][61][62] Sotomayor also wrote a stinging dissent of her own.

On October 6, 2021, U.S. District Judge Robert L. Pitman enjoined Texas courts from participating in the enforcement of the law through private civil litigation on the theory that judges are agents of the state.[63] However, on October 8, 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit put the law in effect again.[1]

On December 2, 2021, a new law against medication abortions took effect. The law requires doctors to examine the patient in-person before prescribing the pills and makes it a felony for doctors to send the pills to the patient by a delivery service. It also prohibits doctors from prescribing the abortion pill after seven weeks of pregnancy (whereas the U.S. Food and Drug Administration allows it up to 10 weeks). The bill had been previously signed by Governor Greg Abbott.

No. By "rogue" I mean flipping "settled precedent."
