Now they are in the pockets of corporations and the wealthy through campaign contributions and high paid lobbyists. I was a Republican for most of my life..voted for Nixon three times. I really began to open my eyes after he ordered grid bombing of North Vietnam. A million people who had no part in the political war were slaughtered. The Watergate thing just put icing on the cake.

The last time I voted for the Spend and Borrow Republicans was for Reagan in 1984...wish I had the vote back. I'll never vote for one again if I live to 100.

So you'll vote for worse spending, big government, and incredibly unbalanced budget DEMs.... you're fucking brilliant

If you say you wish you had your vote back in regard to Reagan....there are two things I know for sure.

1) You were never a republican
2) You never voted for Reagan

And where were you when the debt raised every single year since 1957?? Any wonder why you do not use Obama's time on here??

And your 'Reaganbushdebt.org' stuff is just as bullshit when you post it as when Chrissypoo does

You're a parrot... and a stupid one at that

Wow you guys are kicking in early. Here comes the "I was always a republican but I can never be a republican now or ever again mantra ".

Seen it over and over. This tactic ain't gonna work this time around AGAIN.

Hey buddy, you know when I threw in my shoes with the Republicans on the right wing / and true conservatisim instead of Democrats is when I read Pairie Fire and Rules for Radicals.

I used to be a true and tried feisty lib. I could out rock and roll you in a heartbeat wild child of the 60's.

BUT Prairie Fire is dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan the man who murdered my great white hope Bobby, and Alinsky dedicated Rules to Satan.

Hello???????????/

So fuck you former conservative for loving a team of individuals who admire the man who shot Robert Kennedy Jr. in cold blood and use political tactics of a man who dedicated his book to the Devil.

Heehehehe, and the party of KKK Byrd or sorry Mary Joe I got to swim out of here Senators.

Johnson made all his money over Haliburton (that's what they are called in today's day and age) over Vietnam.
Why aren't you pissed off at Dems for Vietnam.

You must be fabricating your voter history. No honest Dem can blame Nixon for the mess Dems got us into.

Prairie Fire is dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan. tinydancer tells the truth. franco drools and posts.

Rules for Radicals is dedicated to Satan the First Community Organizer. tinydancer tells the truth. franco is enjoying how the foil is tightening around his brain. it's giving him a rush.

Senator Robert Byrd was a head honcho in the KKK. tinydancer is telling the truth and the liar called franco is just saying its all gossip making himself look like a bigger fool by the moment.

Ted Kennedy let Mary Jo drown to death. tinydancer is once again clinging to the truth whilst the moron aka master degree in political bullshit aka franco fails again.

Very simple deal here. You're a goddamned liar!

1956 Eisenhower
1960 Nixon
1964 Goldwater
1968 Nixon
1972 Nixon
1976 Did Not Vote
1980 Anderson(I)
1984 Reagan
1988 Did Not Vote
1992 Did Not Vote
1996 Did Not Vote
2000 Did Not Vote
2004 Kerry ****
2008 Obama ****

**** Voted Against Spend and Borrow Republicans

Obama Deficits > Any Reagan Budget.

I'm so sorry I voted for Obama. Yeah. Really sorry

I agree with the OP. "Fiscal conservative" used to mean fiscal prudence. Then the GOP went full retard and embraced tax cuts at all costs, believing with religiosity that tax cuts leads to more revenues. It's the main reason why I moved away from the GOP.

The good thing about the Tea Party is that they are moving fiscal prudence back into the forefront, even if their tactics are suicidal.

And thankfully for the Republicans, the Democrats have shown themselves to be even more fiscally reckless and irresponsible as it appears that the adults have been booted out and the children are in charge in that party.

It's very disheartening. Maybe I will move to the Caymans.

And voted for more spend, borrow, tax, increase government, DEMs.... we understand completely

Look Numbnuts! When Obama took over the interest on the Reagan Bushes debt was nearly half a trillion dollars a year. In three years that's nearly a trillion and a half dollars. How about you subtract that from Obama's debt before you throw out these totally insane assertions. Reagan quadrupled the debt from less than a trillion to more than four trillion. Clinton raised taxes and balanced the annual budget, bought back about $400 billion of real debt, had the finances on track to completely pay off the national debt by 2012 and along came slow walkin' slow talkin' George. Cut taxes twice, 2001 and 2003 using reconciliation to block a Democratic filibuster, began to borrow from Communist Chinese banks for the first time in the history of this great republic and doubled the total debt again from $5.7 to nearly $12 trillion. Get your right wing shit together before you spray that useless palaver around. Do you ever actually read anything

They all have to take political donations. So far I've not seen Obama advocating doing away with social security, cutting Medicare, releasing the mentally ill to the streets, raising taxes on what used to be the middle class, etc. Anybody with one eye and half sense knows which party is for the poor and the working class in this country.

Let's see you prove that Republicans want to do away with Social Security, cut medicare, release mentally ill people to the streets, raise taxes on the middle class etc...

We know the democratic party is for the poor. Hell they have to keep people poor or they will lose half their voting block. As for them being for the working class. only if that working class is unionized. The rest not so much.

Oh and you've just shown how fucking hypocritical you are.

It's ok for the democrats to take corporate money but if the republicans do it then they're in the corporations pocket.:cuckoo:
