Although Bush hasn't governed like a conservative, I still have to credit him on the economy being resilient and healthy.

All of the down turns can be put into proper perspective.

1- Cheney's energy plan in 2001 pointed out the fact that we were going to need new sources for oil as well as new refining capability.

2- The Housing bubble was caused by people with bad credit buying homes. George Bush never once twisted anyone's arm into purchasing a home they couldn't afford.

3- When you block domestic companies from finding new sources of energy the cost of everything goes up. Nancy Pelosi is a traitor plain and simple.

Nope. And unemployment still on a par with 1950s, a halcyon time for the US......

Slip sliding away,

slip sliding away,

You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away.....

Prove the recession, genius. Go ahead. Give us some stats that prove the recession.

They don't exist, as has already been shown, repeatedly.

CONCLUSIVE evidence isnt there, but there are many indicators which point toward a poor economy, as ive already told you

Total denial is a good way to deal with reality that you don't like.:cuckoo::lol:

Er..denial of what?

It's the recession hysterics who continue to IGNORE the data which clearly shows there is NO FUCKING RECESSION. Unemployment is low, productivity is high...there's NO FUCKING RECESSION.

And if you insist there is, then you are the one ignoring reality.

Which, of course, is exactly what you are doing.

And some people who follow politics are perfectly happy. It's the ones who can't reconcile the fact that their world concept does not jibe with reality who have happiness issues. They know they're wrong, but they just can't quite understand why, and they're depressed because they ARE wrong, and ultimately feel guilty because they actually want reality to change to accomodate them. Which means they wish bad things for their fellow citizens.

I feel sorry for those people. I really do. But kindly don't lump me in with you. I'm happy as a clam.

the reality is that our great country is going down the tubes due to idiotic, corrupt politicians. your ignorance is astounding

What's the Enron loophole?

Stupid people shouldn't give anyone without proof of income a mortgage they know they can't afford. It happened so much that WE had to bail the banks out. That's you, and I pal. And the people that did it sold off the loans to the bigger national firms. How did all this happen? GOP De-regulations.

You guys say McCain wasn't involved in the Keating 5 scandal but that's just revisionist history. And here the GOP are 20 years later practicing the same dangerous economic philosophies, and you want to NOT blame them again. How cute. It's like a mother who can't see her son is a prick.

Unemployment is not lower. They aren't counting people that have exhausted their 6 months of benefits.

Who is this guy?:cuckoo:

And the reality is what? That there's a recession in spite of the fact that nothing supports the claim?

Chaney warned us? Yes, Chaney knew what was coming because it was his energy policies that got us to $4 a gallon you fucking moron.

And again about the predatory lending. That's exactly why our government needs to regulate certain industries. If, NO, WHEN they don't, the lenders will predatory lend, and sure, you can say that anyone that took a loan they couldn't afford is on their own, but that's not the point dummy. The point is, if those predators lend irresponsibly, and they did, and the banks are securing those 2 million plus loans, and they are, then those banks will collapse, and they are, and so the Federal Reserve will just give those god damn banks the money they lost, which they did, and that's your fucking money, your arrogant ignorance is really annoying.

Checkmate. Fuck that. Check yourself. Check your broke ass bank account moron. Ignorance really must be bliss.

Either that or you are wealthy, and I doubt it. :eusa_liar:
