The Repub Party is DEAD!

as long as there's not a vote on league night!!

C'mon, be realistic! I'm not a fan of the GOP, but they were saying the Dems were dead in '04, too.

The GOP lost the election. Then they destroyed what was left of their own party. Repubs have no visable candidate for president in 2012. President Obama has been in office less than six months and still has extraordinarily high popularity. The Republican propaganda machine is desperate and running full blast. I even saw a link comparing the president to Hitler! The GOP is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

For Democrats, happy days are here again! The Repub Party is DEAD!

Can't you idiots come up with anything new?

Given Obama's performance so far, seems you have enough problems in your own backyard!

Your post is not internally consistent. A dead organization doesn't have a propaganda machine, does it?

right now things do look pretty bleak. But things looked bleak for the Democrats back in 2004 as well.

And who thought the Jr Senator from Il would take the prize back then, anyway? All the smart money knew the anointed one was the Senator from NY, that she would lead the way to the promised land.

Lets check back in November next year, and see if it is time for a funeral then.

Make up your mind. Are you for Obama or not? You are not making friends on any side.

This is the same crap each party goes through every sooo many years... When Dubya got his 2nd term, The Libs were finished. Then of course what everyone was saying was if The Mainstream Media couldnt get their mancrush Barry elected then their Creditibility would be forever tarnished.

Well the Media/Newshacks have no creditibility thats already the case. Barry has ruined more than he's fixed in his first few months including spending more money in his shorthacked term then Dubyah spent in 8 years..:clap2:

You Libs are not that smart, Your savior isnt fixing this Country he's shooting us down :cuckoo::eusa_whistle:

We libs are a lot smarter than you, we have the intellectuals.
Big change is happening, which is why you are trying to pass off "business as usual."

Are you sure it is the same crap?
Only a scholar or stool analysis would tell us for sure.
You are just another hack from a defunct political party.

smarten up, derek. wallow in shit on your own time, not mine. some people may be trying to eat.

Things have been worse. 1974 wasn't a good year either.

I would say 1976 was a worse year, I mean losing to Jimmy Carter had to be there on the Republican Hall of Shame moments.

Carter faced a drastic erosion of the value of the US dollar and a persistent trade deficit, much of it a result of US dependence on foreign oil. The president warned that Americans were wasting too much energy, that domestic supplies of oil and natural gas were running out, and that foreign supplies of petroleum were subject to embargoes by the producing nations, principally by members of OPEC.

In mid-1979, in the wake of widespread shortages of gasoline, Carter advanced a long-term program designed to solve the energy problem. He proposed a limit on imported oil, gradual price decontrol on domestically produced oil, a stringent program of conservation, and development of alternative sources of energy such as solar, nuclear, and geothermal power, oil and gas from shale and coal, and synthetic fuels. In what was probably his most significant domestic legislative accomplishment, he was able to get a significant portion of his energy program through Congress.

Actually, Kevin Phillps, who concludes that the party must wage a “battle for the vast majority against the powerful few.”

Actually 2004 was a good year for Democrats. That is the year Kevin Phillps concluded that the party must wage a “battle for the vast majority against the powerful few.” Where Phillips ever got that idea we will never know, but the response has been overwhelming!

Take a gander at this, chicken-counter:
"Fifty-four percent (54%) of U.S. voters say the average Democrat in Congress is more liberal than they are..."
and
"Interestingly, despite big gains in last November’s election which further strengthened Democratic control over both houses of Congress, voters are more likely to say congressional Republicans have about the same views they do than Democrats – by a 33% to 26% margin."
and
"...Eighty-seven percent (87%) of Republicans and 59% of voters not affiliated with either party say the average Democrat in Congress is more liberal than they are. "

and
"For the second straight month, voters are more likely to trust Republicans than Democrats on the economy."
Rasmussen Reports™: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere
and
"Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%,...more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left...These findings, from a June 14-17 Gallup Poll, somewhat conform to Gallup’s annual trends on Americans’ self-defined political ideology. Thus far in 2009 (from January through May), 40% of Americans call themselves conservative, up from 37% in 2007 and 2008, and the highest level since 2004"

In an interview today, Rasmussen reminded that there are more conservatives than Republicans, and more Democrats than liberals.

absolutely true, the republican party is dead.....it doesn't exist anywhere on the planet....there are no republicans holding office anywhere on the face of the earth...

this is why it is ok to sometimes call people morons....
