Yes, the corporations and the uber-wealthy are exactly that... parasitic on our "enlightened" society. Not your average American citizens, but the plutocracy - they are using all of our resources and giving nothing back. And I am not a Marxist, not that you know what that is, anyway.

Corporations are government created entities which can be economic parasites, such as war profiteers like KBR and Halliburton. But so are the hordes who depend on government largesse to survive.

China is communist and many right wingers on the USMB have stated that we should be MORE like China.
They voted for leaders who've moved millions of American jobs to China.
They want to give tax breaks to companies so they have the money to send millions more.

The only reason the Chinese now have a middle class with indoor plumbing and cars to drive is because they over the past thirty years have become so much like us economically. You can have more, or you can have Mao, but you can't have both. The Chinese people wish they could vote for their leaders but, alas, China is not a democracy.
