The reality of Greenland

The useless graphs, the same charts, the same lies the same attacks on education. Don't you shills ever change books?

It should be in a cooling period right now, and in fact, was until we started adding vast amounts of CO2 and CH4 to the atmosphere. The interglacial peaked 8000 years ago, and the temperatures had been in a slow long term decline since that time.

Geology and common sense showed me that global warming and cooling have happened many times over the Earth's history,

The same geologists that now endorse the scientofoc consensus? Have you forwarded this information to them? They seem to have forgotten it!

Piss on your "common sense", ya moron. If common sense were worth a shit in these fields of science, we wouldn't need science in the first place.

Nice meltdown!! ....

I give it a 9 out of 10 on the poster meltdown scale. .....
Fascinating.

Back to your geologists you trust....have you checked in with them lately? They seem to think you're a fool.

You are correct

Right, because climate scientists taught you that. You know, the same people you call liars and incompetent. You really seem to trust them! Until you don't...
Incorrect nimrod.

Human‐Induced Climate Change Requires Urgent Action

Humanity is the major influence on the global climate change observed over the past 50 years. Rapid societal responses can significantly lessen negative outcomes. Human activities are changing Earth’s climate. At the global level, atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other heat‐trapping greenhouse gases have increased sharply since the Industrial Revolution. Fossil fuel burning dominates this increase. Human‐caused increases in greenhouse gases are responsible for most of the observed global average surface warming of roughly 0.8°C (1.5°F) over the past 140 years. Because natural processes cannot quickly remove some of these gases (notably carbon dioxide) from the atmosphere, our past, present, and future emissions will influence the climate system for millennia. Extensive, independent observations confirm the reality of global warming. These observations show large‐scale increases in air and sea temperatures, sea level, and atmospheric water vapor; they document decreases in the extent of mountain glaciers, snow cover, permafrost, and Arctic sea ice. These changes are broadly consistent with long‐ understood physics and predictions of how the climate system is expected to respond to human‐caused increases in greenhouse gases. The changes are inconsistent with explanations of climate change that rely on known natural influences. Climate models predict that global temperatures will continue to rise, with the amount of warming primarily determined by the level of emissions. Higher emissions of greenhouse gases will lead to larger warming, and greater risks to society and ecosystems. Some additional warming is unavoidable due to past emissions.

GSA Position Statement - Climate Change

Climate Change

Adopted in October 2006; revised April 2010; March 2013; April 2015

Position Statement
Decades of scientific research have shown that climate can change from both natural and anthropogenic causes. The Geological Society of America (GSA) concurs with assessments by the National Academies of Science (2005), the National Research Council (2011), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2013) and the U.S. Global Change Research Program (Melillo et al., 2014) that global climate has warmed in response to increasing concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases. The concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are now higher than they have been for many thousands of years. Human activities (mainly greenhouse-gas emissions) are the dominant cause of the rapid warming since the middle 1900s (IPCC, 2013). If the upward trend in greenhouse-gas concentrations continues, the projected global climate change by the end of the twenty-first century will result in significant impacts on humans and other species. The tangible effects of climate change are already occurring. Addressing the challenges posed by climate change will require a combination of adaptation to the changes that are likely to occur and global reductions of CO2 emissions from anthropogenic sources.

Purpose
This position statement (1) summarizes the scientific basis for the conclusion that human activities are the primary cause of recent global warming; (2) describes the significant effects on humans and ecosystems as greenhouse-gas concentrations and global climate reach projected levels; and (3) provides information for policy decisions guiding mitigation and adaptation strategies designed to address the current and future impacts of anthropogenic warming.

Sunni, there is the position of the Geological Society of America. So you think that you are smarter than all the members of both of these scientific societies?

A very interesting lecture by a leading researcher.

"According to an end of season summary from Greenland experts with the Danish Meteorological Institute, 2017 may turn out differently. According to the Institute’s preliminary estimates, about 544 billion tons more snow fell on the ice sheet between September 2016 and August 2017 than melted away. In an average year (1981-2010), net snow accumulation is closer to 368 billion tons."

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Global warming is being blamed by some for the more severe than usual flooding in South Florida.

Funny thing about being blamed...any skid mark can blame you for anything..actually demonstrating that you did what you were blamed for is where the rubber meets the road..the rest is bullshit.

Lets see some actual evidence that global warming is actually to blame for all that severe weather...or are you just another skid mark happy to hand out blame so long as yo aren't asked to offer up some actual evidence to support your spew?
