You think this 'immigration' thing is a just a harmless trend, think again. You can tell me all you want that it's just cheap labor and that all they want is work, but tell that to the nearly 1 million victims of sex crimes committed by illegals. A recent study has estimated that approximately 240,000 illegal immigrants currently in the U.S. are sex offenders, with an average of 4 sex crimes being committed on U.S. soil. That's 1 million people who would not be living with the horrible memory of a traumatic rape if the government had just done its job and secured the border in the first place.

Statistics. I'm not debating immigration at all (I know far too little). But statistics are interesting.
In this article she mentions that 24 percent of the crimes was rape. If we say there are 100000 thousand rapes every year in America (http://www.disastercenter.com/crime/uscrime.htm) That would amount to the total of 733333 rapes within the 88 month period.

If immigrants were to commit 230000 rapes during that period (960000 x 24%) they would be guilty of 31% of all rapes in America during that time. That sound suspiscously high doesn't it?

When you consider the high percentage of the prison population that's illegal, not at all. Then there's the kind of people the Mexican government encourages to come here, such as drug dealers and other criminals that Mexico would rather get rid of than incarcerate. Then, due to our complete neglect of the immigration problem, anybody running from the Mexican government can easily just jump across the border. Mexico won't deal with the problems that stay there, much less extradition, so with neither America or Mexico trying to stop them, there's nothing preventing them from committing another crime. 31% doesn't sound high at all.

Well, I actually think you are a better judge of that than me.

EDITED:
I tried to calculate how many male illegal immigrants between 18-44 years old there are in comparison to the number of citizens in the same category. Couldn't do it.

Alien (law), in the US, a person who is neither a native nor a citizen of their country of residence
resident alien - an alien (foreign national) in legal residence in another country
illegal alien - an alien (foreign national) who did not legally enter another country
enemy alien - an alien (foreign national) whose country is at war with the country they reside in

When I remember, I use the word illegal "invader." It just slips my mind sometimes, since it's been called illegal immigration for so long.
