Can anyone here refer me to some credible information on whether or not the annual Publishers' Clearing House contest is legitimate or not?

I know there are laws which prohibit falsely offering such prizes and if they were challenged and found to be fraudulent it could be costly to them in many ways. But they are promising a grand prize of $1,000,000 a year -- for life, which is one hell of a prize.

Yeah, it's just a free drawing too. The lottery has people contributing money to the pot so it seems more legit. There has to be a lot of legal maneuvering with PCH.
