up until now, i have said, even touted, how much i am impressed by how president obama hasn't yet played the race card; but lately i think, it's coming soon.

president obama just had a short call from air force one with former president W. i wonder what that was all about.
* * * someone suggested to me that president obama has been playing the race card all along, by vicariously through subordainates. i don't know. even if he doesn't at all, could he allow it passively, using it as an asset? it's to big a card for someone of his immpressive ego not to use if he needs it.
