OK, the basic argument goes like this: The BLM movement and it's supporters have spread the false myth that death at the hands of Police is one of the biggest threats to African-American youth. This myth is augmented almost daily as apparently-credible sources within the African-American community reaffirm that Black youths have to be constantly reminded to be wary of every encounter with Police and to do everything the Police command, without hesitation or argument, because to fail to do so might get you killed. (Not that this message has ever been internalized by that group on a broad basis).
And yet, a mountain of statistical information indicates that (1) Black Youths are MUCH, MUCH more likely to be killed by other Black youths than they are by police, (2) that most deaths at the hands of the police are found to be justified, (3), that whites are just as likely to be killed at the hands of police than Blacks, and most importantly, (4) the number of wrongful deaths by police is positively miniscule when compared to the deaths of Blacks by other causes - mainly felonious attacks by other Blacks.
The President of the United States has the biggest Podium in the world. When he gets up and reaffirms the myth of Blacks being slaughtered in large numbers by Police, it foments anger against Police in the Black community. Last week, AT THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MURDERED WHITE POLICE OFFICERS, Our Beloved President again implied that the Police were the problem and not irrational hate of Police by the perpetrator.
Indeed he has "blood on his hands."
Right?
