God Himself condemns divorce in the Old Testament. Plainly so, and does not allow divorce for any other reason than adultery, and only because Moses softened him up.

Remarrying is adultery, a top ten sin.

And that top ten commandment has been violated tens of millions of times in America. Every time a county clerk issues a marriage licence to a divorcee.
