So this is the tact that Obama thinks will win. He's still blaming Bush for what we're experiencing in the economy.....8 million lost jobs....runaway spending....massive debt. It's all,according to Obama, because of Bush. He can't sleep because of all of the job losses.

Does he really think everyone is buying this????

The Dems feel that their best bet is to proclaim that things could be worse. Nobody can tell for sure if this is true which is perfect because a liar needs uncertainty. They can't base their BS off of something that can be proved....they have to base it off of something that is not provable. Who can nail down statistically what would have happened if the Stimulus wasn't passed? Who can say how many jobs have been saved?

The only thing Obama can say is things went bad during the 8 years of the Bush Administration but it seems everything has gotten worse since the Dems took over Congress nearly 4 years ago.

Bush decided to concentrate on the war because he quickly discovered that the Democrats weren't interested in solving problems. They were interested simply in causing problems. So everything came to a head in 08' conveniently right before the election and Obama rode a wave of discontent into the White House. (Evidence is surfacing that he cheated to win the primary. Chances are that if he hadn't been pulling a fast one he never would have beat Hillary much less been in the position to win the Presidency.)

So Obama claims things could have been worse. He's not mentioning the root cause of job loss in this country. FEAR. Fear of the unknown. Fear of what this crazy bastard in the White House will do next. That is the primary cause of jobs losses in the country. No amount of spending is gonna change that.

Sure...Bush had something to do with the mess....but Obama and the Democrats can't say they didn't contribute greatly to it themselves. It's like they want us to believe they were standing on the sidelines and not voting. That they never showed up to work every day. In Obama's case this may be partly true but it can't be said for the rest of his buddies on the left. They helped spend the money and now that they're in charge of the spending they're spending even more. More then it was thought any rational leader would spend. It's like they're intentionally trying to destroy the economy. Everything they're doing appears like they want us to collapse under our own weight. This is the primary cause of the lack of confidence in government today. It's ether because they haven't been clear what their goals are, or that they can't articulate their intentions, or they're intentionally not being transparent because if the truth were to become public it would be roundly rejected. The Dems think we're too stupid to know what's good for us. Seriously....you can't stay in the public's favor it you think they're idiots.

So what do you think the voters want....do they want to give the GOP another chance or do they want to live in fear like we have for the last two years? Neither choice seems palatable. The Dems feel between now and November they can change enough minds and make everyone forget about what we've just been through.

So what if the rich stay rich. Isn't it worth it to allow them to be rich and provide jobs to the rest of us? Or is it better to get even with them...put them in the poorhouse or literally drive them away. That's the options that we have here.

End all of this finger-pointing we keep hearing from Democrats. It is getting impossible for anyone to remain in business in this country...and as long as people like Obama remain in power we will be in danger of having a third rate economy. Like Obama says...the world can no longer look to America. Yes....this is the focus he has. Remove us from a position of leadership in the worldwide economy.

Sounds like he doesn't like having a strong economy. Doesn't it???

I can tell you for sure...the prospect doesn't bother him one bit because he's never gonna have to worry about it himself. Believe me......He's taken care of.

Obama is supported heavily by unions. The GM takeover was just a scam to bail out GMs failing pension plan for the union. Taxpayers ended up footing the bill for a ridiculous pension plan that GM agreed to years ago.

Obama wants to make it look like he's helping out the poor but instead he's helping out folks that make anywhere between $25-75 per hr. GM still is losing money whereas Toyota and Honda were making money hand over fist. Why? They weren't saddled with crazy union demands. Now that the government controls GM other car companies became competitors. Small wonder Toyota became a target for the MSM. (Turns out those reports of uncontrolled acceleration was almost always operator error)

Fact is our government is like an infomercial. They make all kinds of false claims and we can't do much to stop them when we catch them lying to us.

What government entity will protect us from the false claims of politicians? We have consumer protection agencies but no recourse when our government is controlled by snake-oil salesmen and scam-artists.

The closing of hundreds of GM and Chrysler dealerships and the drilling moratorium both of which have caused massive job losses.

Both decisions were proved to be not only politically driven but radically anti-free enterprise.

We've elected a community organizer which is basically a professional trouble maker and asked him to solve a myriad of complex problems. This is crazy.

Or the minute Obama took office, the bank collapses and bail outs, and defaulting on Mortgages, were suppose to magically just stop?

Saving the US Automakers with a bailout, is debatable whether it was a good thing or not, but in the end...it appears to have been a good thing to not let them go under completely imo....especially since the auto companies are paying us back....

Tell us how McCain/Palin would have been better, what they would have done to miraculously add more jobs to the economy after the housing and banking bubble crashes that took place under the Bush Administration, then maybe you all would have a point....
