The plan has been in place for some time...

Actually, if Romney had won, the GOP would have had much more leverage to extend all the tax rates. So taxes going up would not have been inevitable. It still may have happened. There are alot variables involved. But if Romney won id be alot more optimistic for lower spending and lower taxes. With Obama, tax hikes were inevitable as well as spending. It would be nice of Obama came to his senses and actually tried to fix our deficit instead of making it work, but im not expecting it.

Everyone, including Congress and Mitt knew thepayroll tax was to return to pre-resession rates. But you RW Loons say is it Obama's fault. Losers Again!

Payroll Taxes Going Up In 2013 For 163 Million Workers, Obama, Mitt Romney Stay Mum

So now it's Bush AND Romney's fault?

Obama is the only one out of the 3 that is in a position to do anything about it.

It's easier to blame others than to accept responsibility for some people.

Maybe is Willard had made the extension a campaign issue, he would have won? He instead bashed 47% of the voters.

Would he have had to bash 47% of the voters in the first place? Stating that their are 47% of people who will vote for Obama regardless, is pretty much a fact. Unfortunately, there was more than 47% of the vote who did.

And he did run on keeping taxes from being raised. It be nice if people actually paid attention to the campaign

Style over substance they fixated on the 47% mantra and willfully plugged their ears.

Whats sad,I would bet a weeks pay,the same conversation was had by the Obamma team, they just didn't have some spies in the room.
