The plan going forward.

Except we have no control over China, and to try to pretend that we do will only create animosity from them that we cannot afford, and will merely postpone the collapse of the commies.

They have the freedom to communicate with the rest of the world, for one.

Capitalism will continue to exert pressure on the commies to give up control of markets and business. The coolpse of the commie system is inevitable.

Control over access to our markets is a huge control. Don't be ridiculous.

How is the totalitarian government hurt when they take a piece of all action, control everything and do whatever they want?

there are absolutley zero human rights improvements. This theory is simply a bogus and unrealistic assertion.

I repeat: Nothing hollywood does is comparable to what china does; in fact, that 's a really retarded point.

Like what? What new freedoms do they have?

How will capitalism cause the overthrow of the commies (totalitarians) when they are profitting from it?

RWA doesn't understand economics and the power of capitalism to change nations, its useless to argue with him for his utopia knows no reality.

RWA endeavors to keep the people of China not only under a totalitarian authority but also to be economically dependent upon the state, he really doesn't give a rats ass about the Chinese people and really by his protectionist policies doesn't give a rats ass about America either.

Stop the charade RWA, we are onto you.

Its up to the Chinese people to change their governmental situation not us. Now for business 101 which obviously you failed: in business you don't always like who you deal with but you deal with them nonetheless because its beneficial to do it and detrimental not to do it. You see if you actually worked or were an entrepreneur you would understand this.

Put down Lou Dobb's book and get back to reality.

No. It is detrimental the basic morality of humanity. Just like we consider it immoral to pimp out children, though yes, it is a business.

Shouldn't there be some limits on what is considered an acceptable way to make money? And shouldn't slave labor be beyond those limits?

Put down your satanic bible and get back to having a soul.

Your argument is a strawman. Prove that over 50 percent of business in China operates on slave labor............of course you won't be able to. Its kind of like saying well that Polish guy stole that milk so all Polish people are thieves. Hey Jeff Dahmer ate human flesh so are all White people cannibals? You're taking a few extreme examples and applying them to the whole, its intellectual dishonesty at its best.

Get back to me when you have a better argument.

So 49% slave labor is cool with you?

Polish guy? Milk?

Prove that there is any substantial amount of slave labor taking place in China, I don't want to hear 3 percent, 10 percent or any of that other shit, prove it to be a substantial problem or get out of the way of progress and stick to beefing about masons.................LMFAO!

Beefing about masons has to probably be the stupidest fucking topic on the board to date. Absolutely no relevance to any issue of the day.

Do you have proof that slave labor is on the rise as opposed to the decline?

Of course he doesn't, he believes that boycott will lead to change in China when capitalism has always been the motivating factor throughout history in regards to change occurring within a nation.

Capitalism doesn't always make change for the better, morally speaking. Just look at abortion in America. Its a highly profitable business, just because its "capitalism" doesn't make it ethical.

And that is something we can change in America, but for the most part economic change through capitalism in places like China reap nothing but benefits for the populaceboth economically and socially. This is unargueable.

IT is arguable. THere has been no improvements in human rights. Stuff does not equal freedom.

How is the continuation of slave labor an improvement? what exactly is the dynamic that will cause the totalitarians to cede power? They're profiting right now.

No. Freedom has. Not capitalism. I'm a capitalist, but capitalism must occur in a moral context. Slave labor just doesn't cut it for me.

Yes. Empowering totalitarian abusers equals progress.

I invite all readers to conduct their own research into the chinese slave labor problem.

laogai

So where is the proof that slave labor is on the rise and and not on the decline? Or are you talking out your ass like Lou?
