In a Message to Democrats, Wall St. Sends Cash to G.O.P. - NYTimes.com

It seems wall street is mad at Obama.

They bailed on the Rs last time arround because even they did not like the mismanagement that sunk the economy.

They helped create it but they still didnt like the outcome much so they gave to Obama last time arround.

Now since Obama has vowed to "manage" their inability to control themselves and act responsibly to the economy they have gone right back over to the Rs.

You are again the party of Wallstreet Republicans.

And thank God that Liberal political leaders and liberal citizens don't invest in the market.

Expect to hear the party of wallstreet alot over the next few years.

It will give you tons of money for ads but American voters are not real happy with wallstreet.

good thing it's not running for office, then.

wall st always hedges its bets-there probably isn't a 2% diff in the amount of $$ it gives each party.

tell me who is proposing government run health care?

No one has ever proposed that and if you are stupid enough to think that then you need a brain cell transplant.

Go get your current health care providers to agee to that one

Q: Tell me who is proposing government run health care?

A: The Party of Fucking Retards

LOL, so this is the new flavor of bullshit you progressives plan on peddling now? Bad news it's abundantly clear to the majority of Americans that aren't stricken with the same hyper-partisan, cognitive dissonance that you are that BOTH parties are equally in the pockets of Wall Street Bankers.

However if the Democrats were stupid enough to take this tact and attempt to paint the Republicans as the "Party of Wall Street", the GOP has enough ammunition to make them look rather foolish for doing so, I'd imagine they start with the back door bail out of Goldman Sachs and our dear Treasury Secretary's attempt to cover it up and go from there.

The perception that the current bill ( and others like HR3200 ) could lead to gov't run healthcare is the primary reason it can't get passed, even with a dem super majority.......

Er.. it's not a "perception" it's a reality, read the bills and if you come away with the impression that they represent less federal government involvement in the Health Care Industry than we have today not to mention miss the slew of unconstitutional power grabs (let's start with the individual insurance mandate and go from there shall we?), you are in dire need of remedial reading class.

The progressives didn't fool anybody with these monstrosities, their goal was and still remains laying the groundwork for single-payer health care, fortunately the American People figured it before it was too late.

Just how well would the republicans fare in the light of day?

Just about as well as they did in the Qand A with Obama.
