The Party of The Rich

The GOP has generally supported policies that favor the rich over the poor and middle class. The ACA was designed to give health insurance to the uninsured. None of which are rich. The Trump tax bill disproportionately favors the rich. The GOP has increased the amount of money that can be inherited tax-free. The GOP is blatantly anti-union.

The GOP has earned their reputation.
/—-/ 1) There was nothing affordable about ACA.
2) The rich pay the bulk of the income taxes while 48% pay nothing. You can’t give more tax breaks to people who pay nothing.
3) The money in an inheritance has already been taxed. Death tax is double taxation. 4) Your arguments are specious.
1) BS, what about the millions of (not rich) people who didn't have insurance before it?
2) BS, what about the Earned income tax credit?
3) BS, money is taxed every time it changes hands, when you pay a gas tax do you use income that has been taxed already?
4) BS
/——/ 1) They were forced to buy a substandard policy with high premiums and high deductibles and loaded with junk they don’t need like mammograms for men.
2) What about the earned income credit? What does it have to do with tax cuts? 3) Money that stays within the family should not be taxed twice.

1) The ACA had higher premiums because they were more comprehensive and had lower deductibles.
2) You claimed "You can’t give more tax breaks to people who pay nothing" but that is false. If you earn income and make less than $49,194 in 2018 ($54,884 if filing jointly), you may qualify for the earned income credit. This credit is refundable – meaning you may get more money in your refund than you had withheld from your pay. In fact, you may get money back even if you didn't have any income tax withheld from your pay. This may be an issue of semantics.
3) You may think money that stays within the family should not be taxed twice and that is your right but it is a policy that benefits the rich. The amount exempt was raised from $5 million. How many lower and middle class families have estates valued at over $5 million?

There has been a gigantic lie floating around for generations -- That Republicans are the party of the rich and that dims are the party of the working man and woman.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Imagine that? :disbelief:

The wealthiest people on the Planet are dims -- Bezos, Buffet, etc, etc, etc.

The wealthiest companies on the planet are all dim Companies -- Apple, Alphabet, etc, etc, etc, etc.

The wealthy contribute ot dims by a yuge margin over Republicans.

A little context

The Democrats: The Party Of The Wealthy!
Ace of Spades HQ

There is a lazy assumption among the media (wow...that never happens!) that the Republican Party is in its essence for the wealthy, and the Democrat Party is for the little man...the real people of America.

But anyone who has been paying attention has realized by now that the concentration of wealth in the pure blue cities and in the tech sector is overwhelmingly leftist.

Dem Dot Coms vs. Trump's Soldiers and Steelworkers

Providing free health care for illegal aliens at taxpayer expense may not be very popular nationwide, but is commonplace in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Boston. Gun control is a loser nationwide, but a sure thing in the big blue cities. Even proposals to take away private health plans, allow rapists and terrorists to vote from prison, and open the border pick up more support there.

The 2020 Democrats aren’t speaking to Americans as a whole. Instead they’re addressing wealthy donors from 6 major cities, and some of their satellite areas, whose money they need to be able to buy teams, ads and consultants to help them win in places like New Hampshire and Iowa.

New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles show up in the top 5 donor cities for most of the top 2020 candidates, including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker and Pete Buttigieg. Boston shows up in the top 10, not only for Bernie and Warren, but for Kamala and Buttigieg. Seattle appears in the top 10 for Bernie, Warren, and Buttigieg. Washington D.C. features in the top 10 for Bernie, Booker, Warren, Kamala, and Buttigieg. And the rest of America doesn’t really matter.

The Republican Party in my dreams and fantasies would be hammering the Democrats as out-of-touch billionaires who are insulated from financial and social upheaval because they have been stealing from real Americans for years. But that Republican Party does not exist. President Trump does make clear distinctions, like his marvelous criticisms of the four whores of the apocalypse, but without the support of his party he is a voice in the wilderness.

Imagine a concerted effort to demonize the mega-wealthy Democrat donor class. Many of them are wealthier than Trump, so the ads would practically write themselves...

You folks that think the dim party is for the working man? You're stupid.

They're for the rich. The ruling class. The 'Royals' in the media and in the political circles. It's why they hate Trump so much. He's not one of them. He's not a 'Royal' He wasn't born into the Ruling Class like they were.

They only talk shit about helping the poor so they can get their votes. They do nothing for the poor other than to keep them in poverty, there at the beck and call of the dim party come election time.

But, to be perfectly honest with you, I've never been able to spot the difference, collectively, between 'poor' and 'stupid'

Maybe because there isn't one.

And that's why they vote dim every cycle

Excellent post

Trump's Tax Bill seriously FUCKS the rich. The vast majority of whom live in Blue States with High State and Local Taxes.

Trump's limits on how much of those taxes the Filthy rich dimocrap scum in those States can deduct is what's got the dimocrap scum rich worked up.

You're (hopefully) a victim of misinformation designed to fool the naive.

Or.....

...You're just stupid.
If you look at only one part of the tax law, but if you look at it in total the law does benefit wealthier taxpayers more.

When PolitiFact evaluated the bill just before Trump signed it, we found that every income group would pay less in taxes in 2019, but that the benefits would flow disproportionately to wealthier taxpayers.

And by 2027, every income group below $75,000 would see a tax increase, while only those income ranges above $75,000 would still see a cut.

So, are you misinformed or just stupid?
/——/ Blue States are suing to change the tax law because it’s forcing the rich to pay their fair share. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-sue-over-gop-tax-law/?utm_term=.9a8416e90ec2

The rich have options to avoid taxes, the middle and working class do not.

Progs lie, it's what they do.

Most very wealthy lean left
Nearly ALL mega-billionaires are leftists
The wealthiest zip codes are generally leftists
Left policy creates higher taxes, which creates wealth disparity

The left's conclusion? Conservatives represent the wealthy only.........FUCK.

/—-/ Everybody has the ability to avoid taxes. Just different techniques based on your income level .
