The Party of Hatred - The New GOP.

Now that the lines of been drawn and the stark comparisons made, it becomes clear that the party of conservatives, the Republicans, are the party of hatred. And it's a hatred that is directed at fellow Americans. During the Clinton administration this obstructionism became very clear with the closure of government, twice, and the impeachment of the President. Part of the reason democrats were against running Hillary Clinton was the notion that they hated the Clintons..period. They felt that running another person would clear up the animosity. And they didn't get it.

It wasn't the Clintons, conservatives hated, it was all Liberals and Democrats. It wasn't just hate, it was beyond that. It was scorn. The conservatives in this country feel it should be a one party system..and they should be running things. They feel no compulsion to compromise with fellow Americans. It is their way..or no way. And this was shown with the Obama presidency. Even as he took and used old Republican ideas..these were voted against and even called "Communism". They've sided with leaders of foreign nations against our own President. That's beyond disgusting.

The RNC has shown, that the Conservatives are not interested at all in addressing American's problems. They are just interested in getting back into power. And by power this means complete power. They don't much like Romney..but they really hate Obama.

And that's it.

Your points have been obvious since before President Obama received the nomination at the 2008 convention. It's clear in the rhetoric of AM Radio charlatans and in the propaganda from Americans for Prosperity and Crossroads, in Romney's attacks on the President and he and Ryan's complete denial of the genesis of our economic problems. Essentially the GOP is the party of hate, fear and dishonesty.

Speaks to the heart of conservatism.

I need to amend my earlier post. The GOP is the party of hate, fear, dishonesty and insanity

Republicans have taken the position that if they can't run the country........Nobody will

In the midst of the worst recession in 75 years, they took a position that unless all of their spending cuts and no tax increases are implemented that they would block anything from being implemented

It's pretty funny to hear people bitch about how the republicans have done this and done that. They didn't have the votes to do hardly anything until 1.5 years ago. Before that, it was Obama and the democrats who basically gave them the finger and said "you lost" while they put through massive spending bills that saddled us with more debt and took care of democrat backers with federal money.

But, let's put it another ay. The democrats had the votes to push the legislation that they believe in. Good for them, right fellow democrats? Stand up for what you believe in, use your political capital and vote for what's right!

...but if the republicans do the same thing and stand up for what they believe in, demonize them as obstructionists who don't want to work with anyone!

It's not just obstruction..it's outright hate.

Simple as that.

Tossing the word communism and tagging to the opposing party is pretty hateful.

As is constantly expressing the notion that government should be starved of revenue to get it small enough to drown in a bathtub.

That's hate.

What's obvious is the left and the left main stream media abhor talk radio. For years they were allowed to swing the election in the direction they wanted it to go then those AM guys stated talking, along with Fox News.

Remember who called those that didn't agree with him his "enemies". I have no use for or desire to keep in office a guy who's policies have clearly delayed a recovery.

The bigger question is, will Obama own his failures???

That's just the thing..he hasn't failed.

It's hateful to call success, failure.

You want a real failure..look at 9/11.

That was a failure of catastrophic proportions.

We spend almost a trillion a year on defense..but we couldn't defend against a few crazy idiots with box cutters?

Really?

That's failure.

Actually, no they didn't

The Democratic Super Majority lasted a few short months. After that, Republicans made sure 60 votes were needed for any legislation to take place

A party that is ruled by Grover Norquist is not in a position to get any budgetary actions through

Living within our means...that's just CRAZY! :eusa_eh:

Drastic times call for drastic measures

You don't get much more dramatic than $16 trillion in debt. More importantly, your "drastic measures" do more damn harm than good. Get your head out of Keynes' ass.

The same Republicans who supported auto bailouts, stimulus and TARP when Bush was asking for them complained about debt when Obama asked for them

Nobody cares anymore if they're Ds or Rs, the hypocracy is thick on both sides. Big government nanny state meddlers from both parties suck.

Oh gosh let's not talk about the economy let's talk about Swollows hate rant about hate.

I see plenty of hatred from both parties, and nothing of substance will happen to stop our decay until these people either grow the fuck up or are marginalized. The clock is ticking, boys & girls.

You ever see anyone elected democratic justifying the south and making the case they were going to abolish slavery? Or that it was not a very big problem?

Obama wishes it was that simple

Socialism is the beginning of Communism, we're well on our way.

As is constantly expressing the notion that government should be starved of revenue to get it small enough to drown in a bathtub.

Why not, the government was intended to be small. How much overlap is really needed (see below)

That's hate.

No it's not, it's just not what you want.

The U.S. government has more than 100 programs dealing with surface transportation issues, 82 monitoring teacher quality, 80 for economic development, 47 for job training, 20 offices or programs devoted to homelessness and 17 different grant programs for disaster preparedness. Another 15 agencies or offices handle food safety, and five are working to ensure the federal government uses less gasoline.

Federal Eye - Government overlap costs taxpayers billions, GAO reports

Of course any differing opinion from the socialist cause is considered "hatred" and proven evidence of "racism".............

Ask any ghetto dwelling , community organizing, adolescent, libtard...........

Debt has never mattered to Republicans until Obama asked to borrow money to get out of the Great Republican Recession.

It was republicans who insisted that he improve the economy at the same time they balanced the budget and layed off public workers

Obama, his failed ideas and his certifiable running mate are America's biggest problems

Wasn't there a babe at the convention who said she would kill Romney? That's hatred. And did anyone hear the latest rant by the democrat party protected new black panther leader? "If it's white kill on sight". Catchy.

Sallow, this morning an interview with a delegate from New York by the name of Rodriguez was aired. This Democratic Delagate made it very clear that if she came across Mitt Romney, she would "kill him." I do not have a link for this interview as of yet, but I was listening to Neal Bortz. He played the interview in it's entirety.

Now, I'm not sure, so you can clarify me here if need be. But, isn't murder a pretty good definition of hate? I can't remember any Republican delegates giving an interview where they said that they would "kill" Barry or any of his cronies for that matter. Although I mean really, there are one or two of them that need a good ass whooping at the very least.

And I have to argue your point about starving the government enough so that we can drown it in a bathtub. I think that would take way too long. Most of us involved in the Tea Party are way past starving it. We're more into simply removing by surgery if necessary, those parts that are incredibly stupid. Like the Department of Education for example.

Just a minor point...
