He was making fun of "Politicians" "Running for a PARTICULAR office" HAHAHAHAHAH.........discounting wind-power (which works really great on autos) HAHAHAHAH........

He said we're drilling everywhere......." Except the National Mall" HAHAHAHAH......." Or your back yard" HAHAHAHAH.

If you think I can do anything about high gas prices HERE's YOUR SIGN...HAHAHAHAHAH.

The only thing this guy is missing is a glass of Scotch.

This guy is calling "Those Politicians" flat-Earthers. This from the guy that blamed unemployment on ATMs and the Internet.

Does anyone other than Obama think paying 3.5% more for gas this month is funny?

Do they also think an increase in price of 6% on consumable goods in the last month is funny?

Faced with rising gas prices and falling approval ratings, President Obama again promoted his "all-of-the-above" energy plan today, while ripping Republicans for offering "three-point plans for $2 gas" -- or $2.50, as Newt Gingrich would have it.

"Why not $2.40? Why not $2.10?" Obama asked backers at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Md. Only a comprehensive energy plan will reduce pump prices in the long run, he said.

In a speech as much about politics as policy, Obama mocked "a lot of folks who are running for a certain office, who shall go unnamed" for criticizing attempts to develop alternative energy sources such as solar power or biofuels.

If they had been around in Christopher Columbus' time, Obama said of Republicans, they would be "founding members of the flat earth society."

Though he did not mention Gingrich or other Republican candidates by name, Obama said his critics are "trying to ride the political wave of the moment" with old and misleading campaign tactics.

"It's been the same script for 30 years," Obama said. "It's like a bad rerun."

Responding to Obama's attacks, Gingrich tweeted that more oil drilling would lower prices at the pump: "If new supply impacted gasoline the way it has natural gas since 2008, we would be paying $1.13 a gallon -- and I'm only trying for $2.50."

Mitt Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul noted that Obama gave a similar energy speech in Maryland two years ago.

"But with record gas prices and growing discontent among the American people, President Obama's train of broken promises has finally reached the end of the line," Saul said.

The Republicans, including Romney and Gingrich, said Obama's regulatory policies block domestic oil production that could lower gas prices. Their major example: blocking the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada to Texas.

In Maryland, Obama said domestic oil production is up on his watch, but the United States needs fuel-efficiency standards and alternative sources to stabilize gas prices.

"It can't be just drilling for more oil," Obama said. "That's just part of the solution."

If the situation worsens, and those clips start being played in October or so, it will look like obama is making fun of the very people who are suffering under the effects of his policies.

We're drilling all over (private) lands. (The government lands are still off limits because drilling there would actually increase production enough to make us truly LESS dependent on foreign oil and I like foreigners more than I do Americans).
