I have always liked the idea of the fairness doctrine. I would support it for BOTH the media and our Universities.

Heck, when I was in poly sci classes 45 years ago, my profs were just as arrogant about enforcing their opinions as various profs are now. I can still remember being lambasted by one for suggesting Kissinger's MAD doctrine was flawed because it presupposed rational actors representing nation states. Fast forward to today, and Islamist's have blown the doctrine right out of the water. Today's profs may be more in the mold of Zinn or Cole, but the same utter dogmatism prevails. Disagree with the mighty prof and you will suffer.
