The time for dancing and celebrating a Republican victory are over (not as though it really started, anyway). What we really need to do is concentrate on how to help bridge the gap between those who now feel disinfranchised in our society. There is room for all to speak their mind freely.

We need to work together on some common causes that are not so decisive. Tackling taxes, jobs and the war on terror can wait until we all decide what to have for LUNCH!!!!! Can't we all come to a conclusion that some good old fashioned BBQ is in order?

(in all seriousness....we do need to start thinking about how to help unite those who feel totally alienated, and gloating about a republican victory is not the way to do it! It would be best to just accept it, and move forward....as though nothing happened)

Getting the budget under control should be the biggest concern for the next 4 years (aside from our national security) in my opinion.

You can stay abreast of what is going on with the help of the following website: www.cagw.org It is the Citizens Against Government Waste (Sen McCain is one of it's staunchest supporters) There are so many opportunists in the House and the Senate who pile on too much "extra" funding for their pet projects. These should all be cut, and the government would be in much better shape.

Let me know what you think.
