The New Racial Derangement Syndrome

As opposed to your seemingly endless face-to-face criticisms?

Whenever I come across it, but interestingly it seems that your ilk only really mouths off in places like this.
In my admittedly limited experience, I have found that people are usually less annoying in person than on the net. Having said that, I suppose it's not impossible that you'd be a whiny runt in person as well.

You idiots are really bad at guessing.

There is a different sort of racialist derangement spreading in the country -- and it is getting ugly.

Here is actor Jamie Foxx joking recently about his new movie role: "I kill all the white people in the movie. How great is that?" Reverse white and black in the relevant ways and even a comedian would hear national outrage. Instead, his hip "Saturday Night Live" audience even gave Foxx applause.

Race-obsessed comedian Chris Rock tweeted on the Fourth of July, "Happy white peoples (sic) independence day ..."

Actor Samuel L. Jackson, in a recent interview, sounded about as unapologetically reactionary as you can get: "I voted for Barack because he was black. ... I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years."

No one in Hollywood used to be more admired than Morgan Freeman, who once lectured interviewers on the need to transcend race. Not now, in the new age of racial regression. Freeman has accused Obama critics and the Tea Party of being racists. He went on to editorialize on Obama's racial bloodlines: "Barack had a mama, and she was white -- very white, American, Kansas, middle of America ... America's first black president hasn't arisen yet."

Freeman's racial-purity obsessions were echoed on the CNN website, where an ad for the network's recent special report on race included a crude quote from three teen poets: "Black enough to be a n-----. White enough to be a good one."

In the 21st century, are we returning to the racial labyrinth of the19th-century Old Confederacy, where we measure our supposed racial DNA to the nth degree? Apparently yes. ESPN sports commentator Rob Parker blasted Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III last week for admirably stating that he did not wish to be defined by his race rather than by his character: "He's black, he does his thing, but he's not really down with the cause." Parker added: "He's not one of us. He's kind of black, but he's not really like the kind of guy you really want to hang out with." (ESPN suspended Parker for his remarks.)

While this author makes several points worth discussion, he bordered on hysterical by referencing "the racial labryinthnof the 19th century" as an example to what today's environment is like.

In the 19th century and right up to less than 50 years ago, races were defined BY LAW.

Certain races could not ride public transportation on the same level as others, be served in public establishments, or even be considered for employment above that of menial tasks.

The white population is no danger because of the comments of some in the media.

If there was any threat of imminent danger to the white population, the National Guard and every other defense team in this nation would be promptly dispatched to start kicking down doors and rounding up blacks at random.

I was a supposition, not a guess. Short of a face-to-face meeting which ain't gonna happen, there's little you could do, or care to do I imagine, that would convince be that you're not a whiny runt.

If you've run out of shit to say, just STFU instead of rambling on about this silly nonsense.

It was you making a fool of yourself - again.
As opposed to your poignant contributions?:D While I understand that these exchanges are generally silly, I fail to see why stating the obvious (whiny runt) is silly nonsense.

Now you're just making more and more of a fool of yourself. I guess this is what you're left with when you have nothing to say.

You'd think that someone with an awe-inspiring degree in International Relations would have more to say, but at least you recognize your own limitations.

You would be really surprised at that outcome, cause the Blacks in these units wouldn't obey orders and turn against the whites.

True, some in those units would turn, but just as many would do as they were told.....just like there were good slaves and "bad slaves".

Harriet Tubmans quote comes to mind:

"I could have freed many more slaves than I did, the problem was that many did not realize that they were slaves"

Interesting. A poster quotes blacks making outrageously racist remarks.

But the attacks are on the poster.

For being white, and noticing black racism.

How about the racist remarks of the blacks??? If the "non-racists" of USMB cared so much about RACISM, they'd be all over that as much as any "white racist" statement.

But...

NO.

Remember "driving while black"?

There's also "noticing black racism while white".

It's preposterous - it really is ! Blacks are the most racist group in America, but black, and racist, are treated like they are disperate terms. I plan to point black racism out whenever I can - having been a repeated victim of it!

You have NO clue what REAL racism is.

As many here are fond of saying, "No living blacks were ever slaves, so get over it".

I would be absolutely obliged to do so, because we could skip slavery, and make the Jim Crow segregation system alone a topic for a very long time. That way we would be discussing a topic that a WHOLE LOT of LIVING blacks folks experienced.

That aside, I will immediately get over both with one concession: When today's whites recognize that they have NEVER been the targets of REAL RACISM.

*None have ever been denied service by blacks in a public establishment based on their race

*None have been forced to ride in the back of a public transit vehicle or FORCED to relinquish their seat to a black person.

*None have ever had the entry to their ASSIGNED institution of learning BLOCKED by the Governor of the state because os theor race(remember George Wallace?)

*None have had german shepard police dogs and water hoses used on them for publically and peacefully demonstrating on behalf of their civil rights as tax paying citizens.

I could go on.....but those are examples of REAL RACISM. When the law of the land mandates that you are inferior and are therefore legally assigned to second class citizenship.

I remember those days and saw them first hand.

Practicing prejudice and perpetuating racism are two totally different behaviors.

Why not just determine that racism, discrimination, and segregation are stupid and evil and live accordingly instead of making it a competition? (one that black Americans would, admittedly, 'win' hands down - though Native Americans might have something to say about that)

People have shit all over each other and do shit all over each other all the time. Let's just stop doing that. Sure it's not that simple, but if each of us does our part as citizens and individuals, then we will at least be getting somewhere.
