The Never Trump Republicans suffer from "a terrible case of moral superiority”

There's a far larger group of Never-Trump Democrats, and they suffer from an even worse "case of moral superiority". And they've had it for far longer.

that's true, but we should expect more from Republicans. The establishment is the establishment i guess.

Excellent insight on the pampas, establishment, in the Republican party, from Bill Bennett:clap2:

Bill Bennett says it is: “… a terrible case of moral superiority” from people who have decided to “put their own vanity and taste above the interest of the country.”

Yep--really Donald Trump is a disgusting display of the Republican party. This is not the party of Lincoln or Trump, it has been hijacked by the Reich wing. It is now the Trump party. A party full of anger, ignorance, bigotry, misogyny, and extremism.

Yeah pro-American is extreme ...While the corruption of Hillary Clinton is great in your world:uhoh3:

foreign policy experts agree that trump would be terrible for the united states and can't be trusted.
economists forecast his policies to cost 3.5 million jobs, cause a recession, and run up the debt by $11 trillion.

what part of a trump presidency would be good for the country?

Most sane economist agree Trump has a better tax plan ...and believe Hillary's "get the rich" .."get business" would lead to a depression not a recession...Why do you support corruption in Government? :dunno:
name one. show us the experts that like trump's plans

As if the interest of the county is in having Trump as president. Those in the GOP who don't want Trump are the only ones who have the interest of the country in mind. Those who are for Trump don't care about the country at all.

Bennett is making the mistake of conflating the good of the country with the good of the republican nominee.

those republicans that cannot support trump are very much concerned for the good of the country.
Agree. A Trump presidency would be an absolute disaster for the country.

Who wouldn't feel morally superior to Trump supporters - so willing to sacrifice their character and integrity to support a man who has displayed neither throughout his life, especially during this campaign.

You are saying Clinton has displayed character and integrity? That is the pot calling the kettle black.

And those voting for Clinton are willing to sacrifice our country.

in what way?

economists largely agree that her policies will produce jobs and grow gdp. she does not have expert after foreign policy expert questioning her competency.

so how would a clinton presidency 'sacrifice our country?'

Neither Trump or Clinton supporters have the best interest in the country in kind. Both are disasters waiting to happen. How anyone with a half a brain can support these two corrupt people is beyond me.

Liberal economist agree with Clinton, amazing!!!! She is for the 1%, she is for Wall St., she is for large corporations. If she is elected the gap between rich and poor will explode even more than it did under Obama. The is bad for America, is it not?

Trump is corrupt gotta a link ? ..who do you support? Gary Johnson...LOL ..The guy who just said Hillary's corruption and selling out the country for cash is how politics is done? you're a friken genius:slap:

The never republican Trumpers just like the crooked democrats are afraid their gravy train will finally be uprooted by a president that cares more for the country than he does for himself. No one else in the race this year would have put that fear in them like an outsider that knows the score. The party is over DC when Trump comes to town.

My issue with Trump is his inabilty to be diplomatic, he also changes his stand every other day. He then makes really stupid comments to get attention, then backs off when the heat is turned up. Hillary is worse than Trump.
