At least we know who he is, no mistaking what and who someone is if they fly that flag.

I would say that they are a bunch of dumb fucks. You guys will always take a small minority of dumb fucks and act like they are "enlightened" because they suck the balls of the bigots. I'm sure this asshole would probably roll around in that flag as well:
""One of the things that I would do is take all black people back to the South and put them on the plantation so they would understand the ethic of working," Peterson told The Huffington Post's Black Voices on Tuesday afternoon. "I'm going to put them all on the plantation. They need a good hard education on what it is to work."
Yeah, I'm sure a dumb fuck like that would carry the flag of the people who were fighting to keep his dumb Black ass as a slave. Yeah, I'm sure the dumb fucks holding those flags probably liked the fact that people who sported and sport those flags wanted and kept them subjugated as second class citizens living under the Black Codes and Jim Crow. I'm sure that some if not many white bigots get a kick out of those black idiots carrying the Confederate flag, they probably say: "See! Dem dere ******* know their place!".

You lost all crediblity (which in your case it, you didn't have much to lose) citing Huffpo.

Fact is the KKK was the strong arm of the DEMOCRATIC party. Byrd a KKK grand kleagal (sp) was a DEMOCRAT. LBJ who said he'd have them ******* voting democrat for the next 200 years was a DEMOCRAT! Jim Crow laws were a product of the solidly Democratic South!

Get your head out of your ass and educate your ignorant self!

The civil war was over states rights you stupid fuck!!

Lonestar finally found a way to use the "N" word, which was his desire all along, pretty clever

bigot or racist, which are you, are you Black by any chance?

LOL, what was false about that Huffington Post article? Are you saying the story was false and Jesse Lee Peterson didn't say those words?

That's correct the KKK was the strong arm of the white racist conservative democrats who wanted to keep the blacks subjugated as slaves and less than citizens. The key word is"was". Byrd certainly was in the KKK. Here's the rest of your simplified version:" He filibustered against the 1964 Civil Rights Act and supported the Vietnam War (sounded like the conservatives of the time), but later backed civil rights measures and criticized the Iraq War. He was briefly a member of the Ku Klux Klan in the 1940s, but later left the group and denounced racial intolerance. Byrd also opposed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 but voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1968. In 2005, Byrd told The Washington Post that his membership in the Baptist church led to a change in his views."

Once LBJ signed those act and made his appointment, he sent an exodus of white conservative racist bigots over to the republican party where they remained. Jim Crow laws were conservative laws, they wanted to keep the status quo of black people having less rights than some immigrant or citizens.

" However, despite his early career in the KKK, Byrd was linked to such senators as John C. Stennis, J. William Fulbright and George Smathers, who based their segregationist positions on their view of states' rights in contrast to senators like James Eastland, who held a reputation as a committed racist."

The Civil War was a war about the states' rights to own slaves. don't try to whitewash your bloody and tarnished history:
"The Southern leaders met in Montgomery, Alabama, to write their constitution. Much of the Confederate States Constitution replicated the United States Constitution verbatim, but it contained several explicit protections of the institution of slavery including provisions for the recognition and protection of negro slavery in any new state admitted to the Confederacy. It maintained the existing ban on international slave-trading while protecting the existing internal trade of slaves among slaveholding states."

More to follow:
"Texas mentioned slavery 21 times, but also listed the failure of the federal government to live up to its obligations, in the original annexation agreement, to protect settlers along the exposed western frontier."
"Texas further stated:

We hold as undeniable truths that the governments of the various States, and of the confederacy itself, were established exclusively by the white race, for themselves and their posterity; that the African race had no agency in their establishment; that they were rightfully held and regarded as an inferior and dependent race, and in that condition only could their existence in this country be rendered beneficial or tolerable."

"And again:

That in this free government all white men are and of right ought to be entitled to equal civil and political rights [emphasis in the original]; that the servitude of the African race, as existing in these States, is mutually beneficial to both bond and free, and is abundantly authorized and justified by the experience of mankind, and the revealed will of the Almighty Creator, as recognized by all Christian nations; while the destruction of the existing relations between the two races, as advocated by our sectional enemies, would bring inevitable calamities upon both and desolation upon the fifteen slave-holding states."

LOL, bad try dude! The above folks are your people, not mine!

Some more education for Lonestar and the neo-Rebel revisionists.

"The neo-Rebel revisionism spouted by Southern bigots is easily debunked by a simple review of primary sources from the Confederacy, such as official documents and eyewitness accounts. Among the favorite bits of disinformation modern-day racists like to push is that Confederates "weren't really racist" and that their motivation was not a desire to preserve slavery, but to defend the worthy principle of "states rights." (sound familiae Lonestar?)"

"Vitually none of these boneheads have ever read the Articles of Secession written by the leaders of several rebel states (or else they're avoiding them). These documents --modeled after the Declaration of Independence-- were carefully written by Rebel leaders to clearly and publicly explain their reasons for secession. The authors hoped that they would give them legal legitimacy in the eyes of other nations whose official recognition the Confed's sought for their new "nation."":

"So, here are the reasons given by the Rebels themselves as to why they chose treason against the U.S.A:

Opening paragraph, Mississippi Declaration of Secession:

Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery-- the greatest material interest of the world. Its labor supplies the product which constitutes by far the largest and most important portions of commerce of the earth. These products are peculiar to the climate verging on the tropical regions, and by an imperious law of nature, none but the black race can bear exposure to the tropical sun.

Opening paragraph, Georgia Declaration of Secession:

The people of Georgia having dissolved their political connection with the Government of the United States of America, present to their confederates and the world the causes which have led to the separation. For the last ten years we have had numerous and serious causes of complaint against our non-slave-holding confederate States with reference to the subject of African slavery."

From the South Carolina Declaration of Secession:

We affirm that these ends for which this Government was instituted have been defeated, and the Government itself has been made destructive of them by the action of the non-slaveholding States. Those States have assume the right of deciding upon the propriety of our domestic institutions; and have denied the rights of property established in fifteen of the States and recognized by the Constitution; they have denounced as sinful the institution of slavery; they have permitted open establishment among them of societies, whose avowed object is to disturb the peace and to eloign the property of the citizens of other States. They have encouraged and assisted thousands of our slaves to leave their homes; and those who remain, have been incited by emissaries, books and pictures to servile insurrection.

"So, the next time some Johnny Reb wannabe starts with the revisionist gobbledeygook, just show them what the Rebels themselves said was their reason for committing treason against the United States of America. The Confederacy is a disgraceful episode of grand moral cowardice; we should teach it to our children the same way the Thrd Reich is taught in Germany: a mark of shame with no positive redeeming value. The NAACP Hates Black People « threedonia.com

“I believe his vested interests are in white Americans,” Charlette Stoker Manning, the chairwoman of Women in NAACP, told the website BuzzFeed following the Republican candidate’s Wednesday speech in Houston.

“You cannot possibly talk about jobs for black people at the level he’s coming from. He’s talking about entrepreneurship, savings accounts — black people can barely find a way to get back and forth from work,” Manning said.

No, I DON'T "get it", the FACT is that they were fighting to preserve their right to practice slavery in their states. The Planters and Plantation owners had the poor idiots fighting for slavery, even though many or most of them didn't own slaves, they (the poor idiots) wanted to keep that "peculiar institution" around so they can remain above the Blacks as far as caste (class) and keep employed as drivers, patrollers, etc.
