Virtually every other country has some means of preventing voter fraud, yet America has duped its citizens into thinking that voter ID laws are discriminatory and undemocratic. The recent election has revealed scores of precincts reporting more than 100% of eligible votes cast or 100% of votes going to one candidate, both statistical impossibilities. Where is the outrage over this corruption of one of our most basic rights? Is winning at all costs now the law of the land? Do you realize that this can be the first step towards dictatorship? Are we that pathetic as a nation? Can we agree to rectify this situation before the next election?

How can there be voter repression is some precints in Philly had 141% voter turn out with 0 votes for Romney?

Do you have a link to a credible web site which says Philly precincts had more than 100% voter turnout?

In Florida the ballot was six pages long in some areas because of a ridiculous number of measures on the ballot.

If the software programmers did not account for a ballot that was more than one page, then each card of the ballot may have counted as a single voter, and that would explain how they got more than 100 percent voter turnout.

"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."

....Which explains "conservatives'" efforts to get MORE creative....

"Ohio voters reasonably expect that the secretary of Ohio will abide by the General Assembly’s laws in administering a federal election," Marbley wrote. "For an executive of the state to (flout) state law in arbitrarily reassigning a poll worker’s statutory duty to a voter, with the result being disenfranchisement of the voter, is ‘fundamentally unfair and constitutionally impermissible.’"

In Florida, I think there was voter suppression.

I think Republican politicians, with the help of national right wing talking heads, suppressed the conservative vote by psyching the conservatives into thinking they had the election in the bag!!

:eusa_shhh:PSSSH!! Don't tell anyone!! This is our secret, ok?

"There is no explanation necessary. The People of Florida have requested the removal of Rick Scott and want him impeached due to voting suppression and the long lines on election day."

I see no link, and I am a paleo-conservative. Not an auspicious start for you.

Still waiting for one of those about 50 links which say Philly had 141% voter turnout...

.

While we are all waiting...there were claims that St. Lucie County, Florida had 141% voter turnout.

Here's one link of about 50 that talks about it:

Accusations of Massive Voter Fraud Grow | The Moral Liberal

Equally outrageous is the report of 141 percent voter turnout (a statistical impossibility) in St. Lucie, County Florida – which worked well, apparently, to insure Obama wins Romney loses, and the Representative Allen West gets the boot (Rep. West is investigating ).

But as I said in my second post, some people were counting single cards as single votes:

St. Lucie Co. voter turnout clarification still supports allegation of fraud - Charleston Charleston Conservative | Examiner.com

Note: After this article was originally published, the St. Lucia County Board of Election published a clarification on their website. They state that the figure of 247,383 is the sum of total ballot cards submitted. The total ballot was spread across two cards. The final total of cards, as well as many of the ward totals, are odd numbers. This means some voters did complete the second half of the ballot.

Based on this clarification, actual voter turnout would be a figure greater than 70.46%. The board also published a much longer version of their report online . It still initially lists voter turnout as 140.92%. However, it follows with figures that yield a 70.49% turnout.

West's race was highly rancorous and competitive and was in the national spotlight, so it is not surprising it got a higher turnout than average. But it most certainly did not get more than 100 percent voter turnout.
