Mitt, Tagg, And The Romney Family's Myth Of Self-Reliance | The New Republic

...What’s so strange about the Romney myth is that its grip hasn’t weakened even as it has become less true. The affluence Mitt was born into paid for his elite education and financed his first home. The wealth Tagg stands to inherit has given him the freedom to pursue any career and take any professional risk he wants...

The problem is that Tagg’s blind spots are also Mitt’s. And Mitt’s peculiar version of reality doesn’t just drive him personally; it skews his politics and shapes his policies. It distorts his entire vision of how a president should govern.

rw's won't like this because it points out the enormous weakness inherent in Mittens. Its not that we should be envious of his wealth and power. Its that it makes it impossible for him to ever be president.

Even if he wins, he will never be president of the United States.

Read the article and you'll see what I mean. Except if you are a head in the sand, rw. In that case, you won't read the article but you'll say you did and then, you'll just toss off the usual insults and name calling.

This is the sort of article that will make the Romney's furious - feet of clay, they gottem.

Oh look...

Beddy.Bugbite has posted another stupid-assed thread.

I guess he saw the most recent RCP map that shows Romney ahead with toss ups and a flip of VA away from winning without OH or PA in the no toss up version.

Romney's come a long way.

And Obama's gone a long way....down.
