Hitler is dead, just like your argument. The ONLY Americans anyone wants to prohibit from owning guns in criminals and people with dangerous mental problem. Unfortunately, you would fall into the latter classification.

I once talked to a German Professor in Munster about this subject. He was a reluctant Hitler Youth but he did confer that they did come after the guns. A elderly member of the SS also recanted this event over dinner. They were actually quite ashamed of it among many other things as they grew older. This was especially true in Austria.

Meanwhile, more hollow point purchases, 7500 automatic weapons, 3000 troop carriers, thousands of rounds .50 cal which only works in a couple different weapons that Homo Land Security should have no need for, and a November 1st 2013 80 million dollar DHS deployment to zone III just in case the apes on the east coast like Hoffstra, largely unarmed, decide to get antsy once their precious food stamps take a much deserved hit.

Nothing at all for me to worry about, everything looks just fine!
