you know, those aren't bighorns, they're mountain goats.

Eagles are serious killers. I doubt if that one was able to fly the goat up to her babies...it isn't like they feel BAD about killing things, and only kill the cute animals when they have babies of their own to feed, lol. They'll come back to a carcass and eat on it just like a vulture.

My mom rode with an old cowboy who said he'd seen eagles kill deer.

I guess I was skeptical about an eagles ability to kill a grown goat or deer. But now I see how they do it. Just grab on with the talons and pull them off the cliff and the mountain kills them.

Those animals look dead to me while they're falling.

What I heard is they hit them hard, behind the head. It kills them.

But just in case, drop them off a cliff. See him looking around..."Did you see that? Am I badass? Shit, do I have to do it AGAIN?"

How did they get so many different camera angles?

And how did the cameramen not end up as a tasty snack?

We didn't "tend", we actually did it.

Remember, Ben F. wanted to use the turkey.

A more opportunistic killer I never saw than an eagle.

I was driving one day on a backroad in my stomping grounds where golden and bald eagles nest and raise their babies...

There were about 12 of them dive-bombing my car. A Geo.

That's one bad assed bird.

FYI the American BALD Eagle is the symbol of America.

Not the Golden Eagle.

And yes, American Bald Eagles are opportunistic carrion eaters.

I see them eating road kill and fish washed up on the shore all the time.

Never actually seen on take a live kill.

Don't doubt they do, but I've never seen it happen.
