- Pro Gun Control (A disarmed populace cannot resist)
- Use Identity Politics to create scapegoats in which to blame all their trouble on
- Use prison camps (Concentration, gulag and internment for political enemies)
- Burn books that disagree with their philosophy
- Use government control directly or covertly to control industry
- Believe that the government knows best, not individuals
- Anti personal property rights
- Foments strife between static classes in society and by race
- Beliefs in collective, not individual rights.

Liberals = marxists = socialists = progressives = communists = fascists

You are referring to what is known as the American Bund, that was very popular right up until 1941 when Japan attacked the US and Germany declared war. They were quickly discredited and broke up in shame that deepened as the true goals of fascism and it's affiliated philosophies that matter only in shade and hue, were exposed to the light of day and appropriately shunned and expelled from public accptance.

Well, essentially the government is shoving a gun in the face of BP who has already said they'd be paying for the clean up shaking them down for all the cash they can.

I find most of the current incumbents in congress right now complicit with this horrific behavior that is just short of economic barbarism. Barton was right to call this what it was, and we as a nation should be ashamed of all but a few of our leaders who did this. The executive branch has usurped the power of the judicial branch becoming judge jury and executioner on a crime that has not even been charged yet. Oh they deserve to get the civil suits and slapped with the costs, but there is such a thing as process, instead of this imperial national government shit.

You gain nothing long term by destroying BP and driving gulf shore oil jobs to Brazil to pay off campaign debts owed to George Soros.
