The constant Trump coverage is not "free campaign support." The coverage of Trump is all negative, and all slanted.

The insidious aspect is the careful characterization of the stories. Note the use of words like "claims," "attacks," and "complains."

When one of these women now accuse Trump of what is actually criminal conduct, and he denies it, he is said to be attacking this poor female accuser. When he gives one version of the events and someone else gives another version, "Trump claims to..." the clear implication is that his version is less credible.

And of course the only coverage of his policy positions (when there is ANY such coverage) is gross distortions of what he has said. For example, he has never made any blanket statements against "immigrants" (his WIFE is a legal immigrant,, for Christ sake!), he is constantly characterized as being anti-immigrant. Nothing but made-up bullshit, masquerading as "news." When he suggests that American corporate tax rates ought to be reduced to be in line with other Western developed nations, because they are hurting job growth, he is "proposing MASSIVE tax cuts for evil corporations!"

And on and on. Again, are the Lefties here seriously unaware that this is going on?

Trump should not have manipulated the press and taken a cheap shot at getting out from under being Head Birther and the refer to answer "why."

Trump SOUGHT the media's coverage and did so by saying outrageous things in outrageous ways to get the coverage for free and he reveled in it!!!

Paraphrased, he described the illegal immigrants as rapists, thieves and murderers and said Mexico's government was sending us these thugs, not their good people, though 'some' may be good.

He said he wouldn't help any of the NATO Nations in need of help, that we have a treaty with, unless they paid for the support....

He said he didn't have small hands and basically he didn't have a small penis either, on a Stage, in a National Primary, on TV.

He basically encouraged his supporters at rallies to punch protesters, and he'd pay their lawyer fees

He had Roger Stone dump an fake story in the National Enquirer to say Cruz had 3 different affairs...

He said Cruz's father may have killed Kennedy...

He demonized an American born federal Judge for his family's heritage....

He said he wanted to stop ALL Muslims from coming in to our country, which was quite controversial due to our Constitution and freedom of Religion...just crazy, and not thought through statement, that his supporters loved...

He spoke out on attacks on other Nations and our own and without any information he accused Muslims or Terrorists of doing the acts...

He said he LOVED WAR....yes, that is on video....

He said he'd attack another Nation just for their 'taunting'....sheesh...

He attacked the gold star mother who lost her son in a war, fighting for us, and demeaned his father as well, instead of just keeping his mouth shut, he went after the Kahn's with a vengeance.

He did the same, went after Miss Universe with a vengeance...tweeting at 3 am in the morning he was so upset and out of control...

What he said in Scotland after the Brexit vote was just uninformed and crazy to say while there....in a country who did not want to exit.

these are just some of the things that Trump said and did to garnish his free media coverage...just one thing after another...

His expressed love for a murderous dictator, Putin, over our own President of the USA....

Hired a bunch of Russian loving people to work on his campaign, changed the RNC stance on Russia /Ukraine/ supposedly without Donald's knowlege, then fired one, Paul Manafort, and replaced him with Briebart...basically...

And I didn't even cover the half of what he said and did to garner the media coverage....

Or what has happened the past month with the tape release, the debates, election's rigged banter, etc etc etc....

It's been one hell of a year, to say the least!
